英文摘要Self diffusion coefficients of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and its complex with Al3+ are measured by pulsed field gl adient (PFG) NMR technique. It is shown that the free ATP does not diffuse faster than the bound ATP, implying that the molecular size of the complex is not much larger than the free ATP. Based on the diffusion data and the H-1 and P-31 chemical shifts, it is suggested that the aluminium ion is chelated simultaneously by the adenosine nitrogen N-7 and the phosphate oxygen atoms in the same ATP molecule.
