本文通过以大沟为中心的相邻大区域（2.4万km2）的有关资料进行讨论大沟小流域，将电子计算机处理方法、成图分析方法论、野外考察方法相结合，全面研究了该流域暴雨与洪水的成因和特性。
在我国境内无水文气象观测资料的小流域达90％左右。本文的研究对无资料的小流域地区的暴雨与洪水计算，提供了一个可借鉴的方法。

The paper took research on rain gush and flood in basin Dagou in county Maoxian of Sichuan province by seeing the small basin without any observed meteorogical and hydrological data as a partion of the largger area around it. The laws and characteristics on rain gush and flood were detailed by sureying the basin and using computer  technique and graphic analysis.

The method used in this papar may be a powerful way to take hydrological research on small basins in our country sice 90% of them are without any observed data, too.
