本文简述了大沟流域的自然概况，根据土地的现实利用及生态环境特点，按林业区划分类系统将大沟流域的土地利用现状分为2个1级类型、15个2级类型（28个3级类型）；并对各土地利用类型作了论述，提出了合理利用土地的建议。

This paper discusses the characteristics of land use and ecological environment of basin Dagou locating in the semiarid valley zone of Sichuan province based upon a survey. The present of land use in the basin is, according to the classification system for forstry regionization, divided into 2 types in the first grade and 15 sorts in the second grade as follows (28 formations in the third grade are omitted here.):
Ⅰ. Land for forestry use
   Ⅰ1. Timber forest land (1);
   Ⅰ2. Economic forest land (2,3,4,5,6);
   Ⅰ3. Sparse woods land (7);
   Ⅰ4. Shelter forest land (8);
   Ⅰ5. Plantation land with youn trees (9,10,11,12);
   Ⅰ6. Shrubs land (13,14);
   Ⅰ7. Clumbs-of-shrub land (15,16);
   Ⅰ8. Slash land (17).
 Ⅱ.Land for non-forestry use
   Ⅱ9. Cultivated land (18,19);
   Ⅱ10. Grazing land (20,21,22,23);
   Ⅱ11. Land to use difficultly (24);
   Ⅱ12. Land for special use (25);
   Ⅱ13. Residention land (26);
   Ⅱ14. Communcation land (27);
   Ⅱ15. Water body (28).
The author also propsed rational suggestions to use every sort of land after having disscussed its present utillzed way.
