Mammary gland is composed entirely of soft tissue with approximate density  therefore mammary gland CR medicine radiation image presents a low contrast  and slight difference changes may be a manifestation of tumor  so it is necessary to enhance mammary gland CR image to improve its visual quality in order to meet the demands of doctor's clinical diagnosis. However the general enhancement algorithms over enhance the contrast and noise  due to image details lost  aiming at the defects  a mammary gland CR medicine image adaptive enhancement arithmetic based on image gray entropy is put forward. The arithmetic adapts dizzy image to magnify selected spatial frequency response in order to enhance the edge details of mammary gland CR images. It can adjust weighted factor K according to image gray characteristics namely pixel gray entropy. Experiments results demonstrate that mammary gland CR image enhanced by the algorithm has abundant details and high signal-to-noise ratio  moreover  CR image enhanced has good visual effect. So the method is effective and fit for enhancing CR medical radiation image edge details. 2012 IEEE.

Comparing with optical remote sensing techniques  passive remote sensing data have been proved to be effective for observing snowpack parameters such as snow depth and snow water equivalent  which can penetrate snowpack without clouds interferences. The Microwave Radiation Imager (MWRI) loaded on the Chinese FengYun-3B (FY-3B) satellite is gradually used in the global environment research through November  2011. In this paper  we proposed a snow depth retrieval algorithm to estimate snow depth in Northeast China using MWRI passive microwave remote sensing data. A decision tree method of snow identification was firstly designed to distinguish different snow cover conditions in order to eliminate other interference signals. After using the proposed decision tree method  the processing results were further used to retrieve the snow depth in Northeast China. Finally  the practical snow depth data and the MODIS data were collected for the accuracy assessment of the proposed snow depth retrieval method. The experimental results demonstrated that the RMSE of snow depth used the proposed method was approximately 3 cm in Northeast China. 2012 SPIE.

To solve the best-fit sphere (BFS) accurately is one of the technological keys for the generating and testing of optical aspherical surfaces. This paper presents a new algorithm for solving the BFS of aspherical surfaces to suppress some deficiencies in the existing BFS algorithms. In the proposed approach  it is not only suitable for the conic surface  a BFS is constructed  but also for higher order aspheres. The obtained asphericity and material removal function is more suitable for the machining and test. (2012) Trans Tech Publications  which passes through both sides of endpoints in the section o -?xy of the aspherical surfaces  Switzerland.  the center of the BFS is shifted along the x-axis  and its radius of curvature is automatically computed. The variable step size method is proposed to speed up the convergence of the iteration. Through numerically solving the BFS of conic and cubic surface  the advantages of the proposed approach are verified. The results show that the proposed approach is of rapid convergence  and high accuracy

Digital CR of head and neck overcomes the disadvantage of regular X-ray radiography  which can not reveal bone and soft tissue position deficiency in one exposing  and reduces the Xray radiation dose. Meanwhile  various factors cause the decline of image quality  and images must be enhanced in order to meet demands of doctor's clinical diagnosis. The general enhancement algorithms don't consider body's structure differences and density characteristics. A new adaptive CR enhancement algorithm was proposed in this article  and head and neck CR images were processed with this method and compared with linear unsharp masking method. The experiment proves that the details of CR image enhanced were abundant and enhanced CR image had good visual effect  SNR was high  as well as detail variance /background variance (DV/BV) indicating that this algorithm is suitable for head and neck CR medical images. Single-sensor digital cameras capture image by covering the sensor surface with a color filter array(CFA) such that each sensor pixel only samples one of three primary color values  three color is R(red)  G(green) and B(blue). To render a full-color image  need an interpolation process commonly referred to as CFA demosaicking  is required to estimate the other two contributions for producing a full-color image. But  the noise in imaging sensors not only corrupts the color filter array  at the same time introduces artifacts during the color interpolation step and influence quality of images. In order to acquire high quality full-color images  adopt a sort of viable and effective interpolation algorithm based on gradient  at the time of removing the noise  reserve image border and detail information clearly. 2012 IEEE.
