For positive nematic liquid crystal(NLC)  the threshold voltage becomes uncertain when the pretilt angle is not zero  so the value of k11 must be erroneous. To solve this problem  we report the formulas about capacitance and voltage with the pretilt angle isn't zero  present the method to determine the elastic constants -k11 and k 33 simultaneously by curvefitting. We simulate and analyze the theory of this method in virtue of MatLab.
