The quality of vehicle vacuum booster with brake master cylinder is related to the safe of drivers and automobiles. The testing experiment must be executed strictly before leaving factory based on the national standards.The paper introduces the controlling system of multi-function durability testing device
which is designed for doing durable testing experiments and Anti-lock braking system (ABS) performance experiments. The structure and theory of device is presented. The controlling system is illuminated in detail. To test the dynamic property
this system was identified by a recursive BP neural network. According to the character of a great deal of sensors and actuators
the high precision
capabilities and reliability
the distributed control mode (DCS) including the computer and PLC by RS-485 bus is utilized. The four channels testing experiments are achieved at the same time. The test data is directly memorized into the computer. The results of general endurance and ABS endurance testing experiments are shown to demonstrate the excellent performance of the testing device. 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

The sensing properties with strain and temperature of tapered FBG had been researched both theoretically and experimentally. Based on tapered FBG and thin-wall strain cylinder structure
a novel temperature-independent high pressure sensor was fabricated and investigated. The tapered FBG performed as a chirped grating
whose bandwidth and reflection power broadened and increased when the pressure applied on it. Moreover
the bandwidth and the reflection power were temperature-independent. So the value of the strain can be obtained by detecting the reflection power. This method effectively solved the cross-sensitivity problem. The experiment results indicated that this sensor provided a measurement range of 040MPa with a sensitivity of 0.04w/MPa
low cost and good application prospect. 2010 IEEE.

Computer-generated hologram (CGH) is an effective way to compensate wavefront in null test of aspheric surfaces and freeform surfaces. Our strategies of CGH design and fabrication for optical testing are presented
and an experiment demonstrating the compensation results of CGH and null lens is also reported. In order to design complex CGH
software was developed
with which we can design a CGH including three sections: main section for compensating wavefront in null test
alignment section for adjusting the relative position between CGH and interferometer
and fiducial section for projecting fiducial marks around the optics under test. The design result is represented in GDS II format file which could drive a laser-direct-writer- machine to fabricate a photomask. Then
a 1:1 replication process is applied to duplicate the patterns from photomask to a parallel optical substrate whose surface is error better than /60 rms. Finally
an off-axis aspheric surface was tested with CGH and null lens respectively. The test result with CGH (0.019rms) is almost the same as the result with null lens (0.020 rms). This experiment also demonstrated that fiducial marks projected by CGH can be used to guide the alignment of the optics and measurement of its off-axis distance. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.
