The system error of photoelectric theodolite includes Visual axis error
This paper ratiocinates the formula of Azimuth orientation error
horizontal axis error
elevation zero error and Visual axis error of Photoelectric theodolite of T type by triangle relation in space. Photoelectric theodolite of U type with main visual axis and auxiliary visual axis shoots images and inverse images of marks to obtain system error data. Error is less than 0.4 second by comparing error data of auxiliary visual axis with error data of main visual axis and the precision of two methods is identical. It has been validated that the method of error measurement of photoelectric theodolite of T type is right. 2012 IEEE.

When accelerometer is installed
errors would be produced
which will greatly degrade the measurement accuracy
so to the tracking precision while being applied in the compound control. We make the experimental analysis for the accelerometer installation
in which the accelerometer is installed parallel to the azimuth and 30 degree away the azimuth. The data are dealt with and compared with the theoretical results. Out work can offer useful information for the calibration of accelerometer in the optoelectronic tracking system. 2010 IEEE.

some unit techniques like the driving modes and structure
angular position measurement methods in detail
have been analyzed in the paper. A set of primary schemes for astronomical applications
including the altitude axes being driven by 2 DC torque motors
the azimuth by 4 DC torque motors using helical gears
and two pieces of the 27-bit segment tape encoders for each set of axes is proposed. To meet practical engineering needs
the shafting motion parameters are designed and motor elementary parameters are primarily calculated to offer the important references for further study on system driving model and prototype development.

North-finder system is an important application of the inertial technology. It provides true north azimuth information to f all kinds of ground-based equipment. This paper designed a dynamic automatic north-finder based on the modulation output of fiber optic gyroscope (FOG). In this scheme
the sine output signal of the FOG was sampled and disposed
and then the real north of surveyed point on the surface of earth was calculated. The deviation caused by the base tilt was compensated by an accelerator. The output signals of FOG and accelerator were computed combined with the position sampled from increasing encoder by digital signal processor. Successive rotating technique was adopted to modulate the FOG signal periodically. Most of the low frequency part of random gyro drift errors was compensated. The north-finder accuracy was improved compared with the traditional static measuring method. The test result shows the FOG automatic north-finder obtains 2' true north angle accuracies within not more than three minutes
