This paper proposes a new restoration method
only using the single image information
combining atmospheric physical model with fusion techniques to reduce the degradation of the image contrast in bad weather conditions caused by atmospheric aerosols
such as haze and fog. The basic idea of this method is to utilize physics-based model method instead of multisensors to generate a serial of virtual images
and then to fuse those virtual images into a high contrast image based on the wavelet fusion technique. In contrast to previous methods
our restoration technique is not only independent on predicted structure
distributions of scene reflectance
or detailed knowledge about the particular weather condition
but also adapt to the situation without a reference image or images with moving objects captured by a video camera. Experiments on different poorcontrast images demonstrate the availability of the proposed method in case of restoring the atmospherically blurred images. 2010 IEEE.

A fast algorithm is proposed to restore the color images
degraded in a deterministic way by motion- blurred
by multichannel combination processing. Based on the color space conversion model
the point spread functions of the image motion on each plane of YUV422 image can be achieved. The U
V plane of YUV422 images are combined to form a new UV plane which has the same size as Y plane. Then
the Y
UV plane are packed into a two dimensional complex array which can be transformed directly by FFT and result a composite frequency spectrum. Wiener filter is applied to filter Y
UV spectrums separated from the composite spectra. On Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) platform
the proposed algorithm can restore a 1024x1024 24-bit motion-blurred color image in 7.95ms
and the PSNR of the restored image is 27.12 which reveals a good restoration performance. 2009 IEEE.

To absolve image blur caused by camera's high speed
fixed-point DSP TMS320C6416 and wiener filtering algorithm are adopted to stabilize image. On the premise that cameras have uniform motion
restoration model for moving blurred image was researched
the principle of Wiener filtering is explained
the key technologies of moving blurred image restoration with TMS320C6416 are introduced: how to complete FFT calculation of 32bit and how to exert DMA function of DSP to enhance processing speed
ring effect and ghost effect in restored image are explained
and how the parameter of wiener filter affects ring effect and ghost effect is discussed
in addition to this
other reasons of ring effect and ghost effect are analyzed detailed. Experiments shows that One TMS320C6416 chip can restore seven frames per second
there is great hope to realize real-time restoration if adopting multi-DSP or the FFT completion by hardware.

A wavelet-based approach of aerial blurred image restoration is proposed in this article. Image motion is inevitable in photographing for aerospace camera. Though some Image Motion Compensation(IMC) schemes are applied in aerial imaging system
the ultimate image will be blurred in certain extent for the existence of IMC residual error
while the forward image motion is the key element among all image motions which lead to image blurring. First the course of blurring caused by forward image motion is expressed using wavelet transform
and a multiresolution sparse matrix representation of the degeneration model is obtained according to the wavelet transform. Subsequently a regularizing restoration algorithm is deduced from it
and which can smoothly restraint the processed result efficiently. In the end the proposed approach is tested in MATLAB. The blurred image is restored using above-mentioned wavelet algorithm
conventional contrary filter and Wiener filter algorithm separately. The conclusion that the wavelet-based restoration algorithm is superior to other two approaches is obtained by comparing the restored image's value of mean gradient. The calculating quantity of the wavelet-based blurred image restoration approach isn't large and it has good practicability in the field of image interpretation and aerial survey or drawing.
