An extended high gain state and perturbation observer combined with feedback linearization was applied in drag tracking for Mars entry longitudinal guidance. The observer estimates the drag
the drag rate and the perturbation due to model uncertainty and disturbance for drag tracking. Mars entry simulation was performed to assess the performance of the adaptive guidance law. The results demonstrate that the proposed guidance law is robust to model error
and can recover the ideal performance of the feedback linearization control. Introduction In recent years

We focused our attention on model reduction for linear time invariant (LTI) continuous time systems with single input and single output (SISO). We analyzed the strongpoint and shortcoming of an information theoretic approach called minimum information loss method for model reduction. We explained relationships between the steady-state information entropy and controllability information for the Gaussian systems. The controllability
observability and Cross-Gramian information were analyzed in the time-domain. The frequency-domain Cross-Gramian information (FCGI) was defined based on Cross-Gramian matrix containing information associated with both controllability and observability. Furthermore
a valuable application of the frequency-domain Cross-Gramian information to model reduction (FCGMIL) was developed by using the concept and properties of frequency-domain Cross-Gramian information. The performance index of FCGMIL is to minimize the frequency-domain Cross-Gramian information loss caused by eliminating the state variables with weak contributions to Cross-Gramian information over some frequency band. Two numerical examples are illustrated to verify the efficiency of FCGMIL. 2010 IEEE.

A stable direct adaptive fuzzy decentralized control for reconfigurable modular manipulators is proposed to satisfy the concept of modular software. For the development of the decentralized control
the dynamics of reconfigurable manipulators is represented as a set of interconnected subsystems. The fuzzy logic systems are introduced to model the unknown dynamics of subsystem and the interconnection term by using adaptive algorithm. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem
the stability of the closed-loop systems can be verified. The simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive fuzzy decentralized control schemes.

Electric-Optical (EO) imaging systems are modern systems
especially the one consists of aspheric optics and image processing called wavefront coding system. The design concept of this kind system is totally different from the traditional image system. The trade-off between the complexity of the image deconvolution and the depth of focus extended should be considered. So we establish a simulation model consisting of optical optimization design
system signal-to-noise ratio analysis and recovered image evaluation. The data can be exchanged among them. This simulation tools will be very useful in system design process.
