The thermal control indicators CAE methods of Space optical remote sensor are analyzed in the presented work. We sat up a thermal optical analysis model for space optical remote sensor. By assuming fully covered by in-orbit temperature load  and using the finite element method for thermal deformation analysis  we obtained the optical remote sensor surface deformation and displacement under various thermal loading. Using ZERNIKE polynomial  wave was fitted to obtain ZERNIKE polynomial coefficients which were incorporated into the optical system design. Using CODE V optical calculation software  heat-ray machines under elastic deformation of the system point spread function  transfer function (MTF)  wave front differential (WFE) etc. were calculated. Image quality changes of remote sensors are discussed in variety assumed cases such as temperature loads of quality change. By repeated iteration  critical value of temperature fields meeting the design requirements are obtained for the optical system. Optical indicators were converged to the temperature field indicator  then reasonable indicators of thermal control for remote sensors were obtained. When infrared optical system works in a large temperature range  the thermal effect of optical lens and optical tube will produce image plane shift and lead to imaging quality deterioration. In order to eliminate the thermal aberration  the athermalization design principles of infrared optical system were introduced  and some commonly used methods of thermal difference compensation were described. Proceeding from single lens  the thermal difference caused by temperature changing was analyzed  and the relationship between temperature and focus shift was obtained. Considering optical tube thermal expansion  a set of equations to estimate the thermal difference of lens group was given. Finally  an infrared optical imaging system that can work under the temperature range of -40C to 60C was design according to athermal technique  in which a new mechanical passive temperature compensation was proposed. Through simulation  the athermalization design could make imaging plane shift the smallest. The simulation results coincided with the theoretical formula  and the design had reference value in engineering. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

TMA (Three Mirror Anastigmatic) is popular to the design of space-based optical system. This paper describes the characteristics of the on-axis TMA optical system. An on-axis TMA system with 13m focal length is designed and analyzed. To solve the initial configuration parameters  Cassagrain structure is confirmed firstly  and then the tertiary mirror. Based on initial configuration parameters  automatic optimization is executed in ZEMAX program  and design result with excellent image quality is acquired  which shows the procedure we choosed with good advantage of computer processing. As the distortion of the design reaches 1%  its influences on TDICCD brushing camera are discussed. The source of distortion is analyzed and correcting methods are considered. Zero focal power corrector is chosen to correct the distortion  and the corrected distortion is less than 0.02%. The research on on-axis TMA system in this paper makes a foundation for farther high-resolution remote sensing applications.
