black hole physics Low Mass X-ray Binaries accretion accretion discs stars: individual (MAXI J1820+070) Astrophysics - High Energy Astrophysical Phenomena Abstract: We present high-speed optical photometry from SAAO and SALT on the black hole LMXB MAXI J1820+070 (ASSASN-18ey), some of it simultaneous with NICER, Swift and Insight-HXMT X-ray coverage. We detect optical Quasi-Periodic Oscillations (QPOs) that move to higher frequencies as the outburst progresses, tracking both the frequency and evolution of similar X-ray QPOs previously reported. Correlated X-ray/optical data reveal a complex pattern of lags, including an anti-correlation and a sub-second lag that evolve over the first few weeks of outburst. They also show correlated components separated by a lag equal to the QPO period roughly centered on zero lag, implying that the inter-band variability is strongly and consistently affected by these QPOs at a constant phase lag of roughly ±Ю The synchronisation of X-ray and optical QPOs indicates that they must be produced in regions physically very close to each other we thus propose that they can be explained by a precessing jet model, based on analogies with V404 Cyg and MAXI J1348-630.

The piezo-electric steering control system is used to compensate the vibration of satellite platform. The mathematical model of piezo-electric steering system is built. The adaptive controller based on improved LMS filter algorithm is designed according to this system characteristic. The adaptive delay filter is designed to solve slow convergence speed problem of traditional algorithm. Meanwhile the adaptive delay filter can also compensate phase delay of control circuit. The adaptive deviation filter is introduced and it effectively compensates the vibration deviation which is low frequency and high amplitude. The experimental results show that the remained errors are rad which meets space optical communication requirement and proves that this control scheme is valid and feasible. Pre-amplifier circuit is critical for the noise performance of the high speed CCD camera. Its main functions are amplification and impedance transform. The high speed and low noise pre-amplifier of CCD camera is discussed and designed in this paper. The high speed and low noise operational amplifier OPA842 is adopted as the main part. The gain-set resistors for the amplifier are designed optimally. The different precision gain-set resistors are swept using Monte Carlo method. CCD video signal which has high DC offset voltage is AC coupled to the amplifier. The output signal of the amplifier is source terminated using 50 ohms matching resistor so as to transmit the video signal through coaxial cable. When the circuit works in high speed the PCB will have important effect to circuit performance and can even cause the amplifier unstable due to the parasitic problem of PCB. So the parasitic model of the PCB is established and the PCB layout design issues are also presented. The design result shows that the pre-amplifier can be used in the camera whose pixel rate could be up to 40 MHz and its input referred noise density is about 3 nV/Hz 1/2. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite networks are capable of providing broadband access to end users in any part of the world. With the characteristics of high-speed movement and rapid dynamic topology of LEO satellites networking has always been one of the key issues in LEO satellite network. MPLS-TP (Multi-Protocol Label Switching-Transport Profile) is an excellent packet transport network (PTN) technology in terrestrial networks which can support multi-service and have perfect function of QoS (Quality of Service) OAM (Operation Administration Maintenance) and survivability. In this paper the characteristics of LEO satellite network and functional architecture of MPLS-TP are introduced. Then an advanced LEO satellite network model based on MPLS-TP (ALSN-M) is proposed which can guarantee a connection-oriented seamless data transmission. Furthermore topology and routing algorithms of proposed LEO satellite network model is analyzed. In the end the paper describes how to setup and remove a LSP (Label Switched Path) and how to maintain an exiting LSP when a handover happens.

In order to overcome the shortcomings of standard unscented Kalman filter (UKF) which are obviously influenced by the error of initial value and the model error of system adaptive UKF which is based on the adaptive principle is applied in initial alignment of the MINS/GPS integrated navigation system. Coarse alignment cannot be done by micro inertial measurement unit (MIMU) itself because of its low precision the method of using magnetometer to assist it with coarse alignment is presented. Simulation results show that the adaptive UKF can overcome the influences of initial values error and inaccurate system model and improve the convergence speed and alignment accuracy effectively. 2010 IEEE.
