Astrophysics - High Energy Astrophysical Phenomena
Abstract: Insight-HXMT is the first Chinese X-ray astronomical mission, launched successfully on June 15, 2017, from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Insight-HXMT was designed to have a broad energy coverage in X-rays, from 1-250 keV, with excellent timing and adequate energy resolution at soft X-rays, and the largest effective area at hard X-rays. This allows, in particular, to observe bright sources like X-ray binaries (XRBs) in their bright/outburst states with high cadence and high statistics at hard and soft X-rays at once. It was then expected that the Insight-HXMT mission will bring us new insights regarding the characteristics of several source classes. Examples include characterizing High-Mass X-ray Binaries (HMXBs) and the outburst evolution of Low-Mass X-ray Binaries (LMXBs). For instance, in HMXB systems, the region around their Alfven radius that is responsible to determine whether accretion or propeller occurs, or the region around the NS magnetic pole where the intense X-rays are supposed to be produced are specially appealing targets of study. For the LMXBs, the evolution the outburst and the properties of the compact objects themselves are obvious priority targets for Insight-HXMT. Due to the broad coverage in energy, Insight-HXMT is specially well suited to study the influence of thermonuclear (type-I) X-ray bursts upon the surrounding environment.

According to the area CCD camera of characteristics
such as high resolution capacity and high frame frequency
this paper puts forward a high speed and parallel image compression system of high integration degree. Firstly
according to the work principle of the area CCD
FPGA is adopted to realize the timing driving and multichannel and parallel analog signal handling to raise the export frame frequency of the area CCD. Secondly
with an image compression scheme based on FPGA embedded processor MicroBlaze and ADV212 compression chip
real time image compression and the high speed area CCD are realized. Finally
by detecting the analog signal of the area CCD output
the real time compression of the big area CCD image is carried out in different compression ratios and the compression performance is analyzed. Experiment result shows that this scheme can realize real time image compression with the biggest data rate of 520Mbps. When compression bit ratio is 0.15
the signal-to-noise ratio of peak value can reach 36 dB. Image collection and image compression are integrated
which reduces the data transmission between them and improves systematic integration degree.

Being an efficient method of information fusion
image fusion has been used in many fields such as machine vision
medical diagnosis
military applications and remote sensing.In this paper
Pulse Coupled Neural Network (PCNN) is introduced in this research field for its interesting properties in image processing
including segmentation
target recognition et al.
and a novel algorithm based on PCNN and Wavelet Transform for Multi-focus image fusion is proposed. First
the two original images are decomposed by wavelet transform. Then
based on the PCNN
a fusion rule in the Wavelet domain is given. This algorithm uses the wavelet coefficient in each frequency domain as the linking strength
so that its value can be chosen adaptively. Wavelet coefficients map to the range of image gray-scale. The output threshold function attenuates to minimum gray over time. Then all pixels of image get the ignition. So
the output of PCNN in each iteration time is ignition wavelet coefficients of threshold strength in different time. At this moment
the sequences of ignition of wavelet coefficients represent ignition timing of each neuron. The ignition timing of PCNN in each neuron is mapped to corresponding image gray-scale range
which is a picture of ignition timing mapping. Then it can judge the targets in the neuron are obvious features or not obvious. The fusion coefficients are decided by the compare-selection operator with the firing time gradient maps and the fusion image is reconstructed by wavelet inverse transform. Furthermore
by this algorithm
the threshold adjusting constant is estimated by appointed iteration number. Furthermore
In order to sufficient reflect order of the firing time

each of the wavelet coefficient is activated. In order to verify the effectiveness of proposed rules
the experiments upon Multi-focus image are done. Moreover

The paper designs a driving circuit of high sensitive
wide dynamic and high signal-to-noise ratio for binocular CCD imaging system which adopts a Dalsa-made high resolution full-frame 33-mega pixels area CCD FTF5066M. Inner structure and driving timing of the FTF5066M sensor are presented. Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is used as the main device to accomplish the timing design of the circuits and power driver control of the two sensors. By using the Correlated Double Sampling (CDS) technique
the video noise is reduced and the SNR of the system is increased. A 12- bit A/D converter is used to improve the image quality. The output rate of the imaging system designed with integrated chip can reach to 1.3 frames per second through bi-channel. For its good performance
low power consumption and small volume
the driving system can be applied to aeronautics and astronautics field. With a further improvement

In order to meet the needs of measurement of highspeed target
the timing sequence of LUPA300
an array CMOS image sensor of CYPRESS
is analyzed. The driving timing and control software is designed for the array CMOS sensor. High speed CMOS imaging system
whose hardware platform is FPGA
is emphasized. Real-time non-uniformity correction for CMOS sensor is implemented in the output stage. The experimental result shows that the system could control the CMOS sensor flexibly. The image is clear and stable. The maximum resolution of the image is 640H480V pixels and the system can operate up to 250 frames per second in full resolution. 2010 IEEE.
