The simulation methods for the adaptive optics (AO) system are studied. Based on the global structure of the AO system
the key principles for each module are first discussed systematically
including the wave propagation principles
wave-front representation
coordinates transformation between the coordinates considered
wave-front reconstruction algorithm and DM principles. The purpose of these discussions is to establish the theoretical foundations for the numerical simulations of the AO system. A kind of precision harmonic gear drive in the focusing mechanism of space camera is studied
which adopt external meshing complex wave transmission mode. Wave generator is combined with an elliptic cam and a flexible bearing around it. Flexspline is a structure of single wave with the same teeth. The output shaft is supported by a single cross-roller bearing. Ball screws connected the output shaft translate the rotational motion to the linear motion
and drive the focusing mirror repeated moving along the linear guide. The output rigid wheel is connected with absolute encoder to detect displacement of focusing movement. It has the characteristics of big transmission ratio
high precision
compact structure
high efficiency and smooth running etc. According to the practical application of this harmonic gear drive in the space camera
the location relationship between the displacement of focusing structure and the focal plane movement is derived
and the system error is analyzed
its accuracy is tested with the open-loop control method. Experimental results show that transmission ratio of the instrument is 1:70
repeated positional accuracy is 2m
which meet the requirements for use. 2010 SPIE.

High accuracy is required in surface testing of 90nm nodal point lithography projecting lens. By comparing various aspheric surface testing methods
the structure layout of the compensator is a meniscus positive lens combined with a Plano-convex positive lens. The design results indicate that: primary and high order aberrations are balanced well
we adopt Offner null compensator to test the aspheric surface in the point diffraction interferometer at last. In this paper
MTF exceeds diffraction limit
an Offner compensator is presented on the base of the third order aberration theory to test concave aspheric surface
root-mean-square (RMS) of wave front error /167. The F-number of the system can achieve F/1.64. By the analysis of the process of aspheric surface testing with the designed system
the optical construction parameters of which is determined by introducing equal-quantities spherical aberration to compensate all orders of aspheric coefficients. The field of view of the system is 0.02
