The correction methods of LED displays are aiming to address the uniform issues which includes brightness aspect and color aspect. The correction method use a 33 correction coefficients matrix to reshape the pulse width of each LED. To calculate the correction coefficients
a linear system is established
which includes a color CCD and a LED display. And a correction algorithm is introduced based on the color CCD. This algorithm describes the relationships of the main color components of a LED
when the gray level of a LED is increasing or decreasing
the three main color components would change according to the correction coefficients. The results shows that the correction based on this algorithm improved the performance of LED displays. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

Brightness and color correction system is working for the color uniform problem of LED display. The correction system can improve LED display's quality greatly. The accuracy of the LED system must consider the accuracy requirements of the color correction system. This paper analyze the accuracy requirements from two aspects. One is that the accuracy requirements should consider the chromatic tolerance for the human eyes
the other one is that the accuracy requirements should be associated with the precision of measuring equipment. This paper discuss the accuracy requirement with the CIE1976LUV as a color space to meet the chromatic tolerance of the human eyes
and also give an explanation on how the accuracy of the measuring equipment affect the the correction system. Then this paper give a method to ensure the accuracy requirement for the correction system of a LED display. 2011 IEEE.

In this paper
a color gamut transformation method which transformed the different color gamut into a same one has been proposed. In the transforming process
the deviation which was arose from the quantization error and the truncation error were existing. If the deviation was out of the color tolerance
the uniformity of the screen color will be deteriorated. Firstly
the color tolerance of vision was calculated by the color-difference formula. Secondly
in the full-color LED display experiments
it was analyzed that the tri -color tolerance values are respectively 2.5
2.8 and 1.3. According to the tri -color tolerance values and the color difference formula
the express of the quantization precision
gray value and the color difference was set up. Finally the gray-scale range of the color uniformity was analyzed by the collected data
it was concluded that the uniformity of the display was satisfied the requirement of the visual when the range of the gray level was [11
14]
and when the range was [1
11]

The deviations of primary display characteristics often bring about many complex chromatic aberrations on the color gamut. Among kinds of existing situations caused by deviation of primaries
the emphasis of this paper is confined to the deviation of same function family at the single primary for smoothing away differences. The purpose of this paper is two fold. First
luminance aberration of facsimile color which arises out of special deviations is discussed from many aspects and the three-dimensional gamut model of luminance aberration is proposed. The second goal is drawn on the color aberration arose from these deviations of primaries and the three-dimensional gamut with vectors has been introduced to demonstrate the feature of these aberrations whereas the difficulties of describing the distribution of color aberration. All these conclusions can be utilized to appraise the quality of the display fidelity.

This paper will introduce the principle and techniques to realize laser color video display. The characteristics of techniques and bottleneck of restricting the development are analyzed. A novel technical approach to eliminating the laser interference
improving the uniformity of optical field
transforming the chromaticity and extending the virtual color is proposed. The principle device of laser display system has been produced on the basis of the blue
green and red diode-pumped solid state lasers. The wavelengths of the blue
green and red are respectively 473nm
532nm and 671 nm. The output powers of the lasers are 1.3W
0.32W and 3.5W respectively.
