For the purposes of correcting the LED display image
a method based on computer simulation is proposed. First
the development of the LED display panel is introduced. Second
analyze the causes of the problem which image in LED display panel has serious high nonuniformity
and introduce the existed correction techniques which are used to reduce the nonuniformity of LED display image. Simultaneously
point out the ground for shortcomings of these techniques. Third
describe the principle of correction method based on computer simulation detail from two steps
which are the luminous collection and luminous copulation. Forth
describe the realization steps of this method in accordance with the third step. Finally
this method is supplied in a LED display panel
whose resolution is 640480. Experimental results show that this method is able to reduce the non-uniformity of images from 11.06% to 0.98%. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

With the application of CCD image sensor
the display effect of LED display panel is greatly improved. Due to the pixel response non-uniformity of CCD
it usually brings a "center dark
surround light" defect on LED display panel. Based on image smoothing algorithm
a calibration method for this defect is proposed in this paper. After calibration
the display uniformity deviation of LED display panel can be narrowed from 12.9% to 0.73%. Experimental results show that the method overcomes the inherent defect and achieves the desired effect. 2010 IEEE.

In order to meet the needs of measurement of highspeed target
the timing sequence of LUPA300
an array CMOS image sensor of CYPRESS
is analyzed. The driving timing and control software is designed for the array CMOS sensor. High speed CMOS imaging system
whose hardware platform is FPGA
is emphasized. Real-time non-uniformity correction for CMOS sensor is implemented in the output stage. The experimental result shows that the system could control the CMOS sensor flexibly. The image is clear and stable. The maximum resolution of the image is 640H480V pixels and the system can operate up to 250 frames per second in full resolution. 2010 IEEE.

The non-uniformity phenomenon exists in each channel of multi-CCD imaging systems. The factors which lead to the problem are complex. The conventional calibrating algorithms can not consider all of these factors and have poor effects. According to the characters of multi-CCD imaging systems
a non-uniformity correction method based on the scene was proposed by adopting the traditional two-point correction theories. The correction coefficient of each channel image can be calculated via the linear relation between the two neighboring pixel lines in the two-channel images. Compared with the conventional two-point calibration and multi-point calibration methods
contrastive calibrating results were obtained. This method does not need any standard lighted image as reference source
which provides a real time way for calibrating the multi-CCD imaging systems in practical applications. 2010 IEEE.
