At present
micrometer is used for measure the shape edge of automobile airbag. There are some shortcomings in this method. The number of test points is limited. Test data is not comprehensive. Detection speed is slow and a fixture can only test a kind of airbag. The method of airbag shape edge detection based on image processing is researched in this paper. The image of airbag is collected by CCD
and then it is sent to the computer to be processed and segmented. The edge of image is extracted through Canny edge detection algorithm in order to acquire shape edge of airbag in this paper
and the image similarity degree are calculated to provide the information of matching in the template matching process. Finally the comprehensive test shape edge of airbag is realized. The experimental results show that the detection method is effective feasible

This paper proposed a sub-pixel image correlation algorithm that can get more Precise result
its principle is apply the distribute of relativity peak to get weighted multi-pixel comprehensive of location. Image correlation be as to calculates the greyscale relativity of image template and matching image
the relativity of correspond location where match best with template will be most high
and in its neighbour range
the relativity will be still keep high too. We used these pixel in this local area of calculated match point to get sub-pixel accuracy
the relativity of every pixel be used as its weight for participate the sub-pixel calculation. The sub-pixel location is more accuracy than the integer one
we applied this method to perform background compensation in processing the target detecting for video image sequence. At the end of this paper
some experiment data be proposed
it proved this sub-pixel image correlation can obtain better result. 2011 SPIE.

The remote sensing camera in large field and wide cover needs CCD with enough pixels. But the existing CCD cannot satisfy the practical needs. Therefore several pieces of CCD which has insufficient pixels are spliced to get a long CCD array with plenty of pixels. The precision requirements of CCD splicing are very strict
so that the same high accuracies are required in the precision detection of CCD splicing. When detecting precision of CCD splicing
the graphical markers with simple geometric structure in the CCD package are selected as templates. The position precision data of the graphical markers in each CCD are obtained using the template matching algorithm. Using the unified objective templates
the focal plane which has multi-chip of CCD is detected by template matching algorithm. Experiment results show that the template matching algorithm can enhance the located precision of each CCD to 0.347m. The splicing precision detection with template matching algorithm can avoid the subjective error caused by the conventional detection method. And its results are more accurate. In addition
without manual intervention in the process of precision detection

In order to improve the real-time performance of the conventional correlation tracking algorithm based on full search method
for its huge computation amount and vast correlation matching times in the process of searching an optimal matching position
a method of combining the TMS320C64x DSP assembly language and software pipelining is proposed to realize template matching which costs the most time of the algorithm. Choose high performance DSP chip TMS320DM642 as the core processor of the hardware platform
and schedule each one of the instruction in the algorithm to maximize performance using the instruction-level parallelism of the DSP. The experimental results indicate the time of template image matching implemented in assembly language has decreased from 49.36ms to 0.62ms. It is concluded that the correlation tracking adopting proposed method can meet the real-time and stability requirement of the target tracking. 2010 IEEE.

In order to improve the speed of matching algorithm and simplify the processing of existing sub-block coding matching
a new template matching method combined local gray value encoding matching and phase correlation is proposed. Matching process is divided into rough matching and fine matching. Rough matching divides the image into certain size blocks called R-block
sums the gray value of each R-block pixel
encodes the R-block according to the gray value distribution of R-block with the adjacent R-block
and matches by step between the template and each search sub-image. Then
fine matching results are obtained using phase correlation according to initial match parameters. The time complexity of the proposed method is (M2) .The new algorithm is faster than traditional algorithm by two orders of magnitude
and the speed has improved twice compared with existing sub-block coding method. Experiments demonstrate that the new algorithm is robust to the linear transformation of pixel grey value and image noise
and it also has the stability of small-angle rotation. 2009 IEEE.

In order to meet requirement of real-time and high accuracy in image matching aided navigation
SSDA algorithm is used to match remote sensing image and template image coarsely
a fast and effective algorithm of remote sensing image matching based on corner detection is put forward. With the combination of rough and fine match
when the matching result is bigger than one to count absolute value sum of energy difference of characteristic point energy to realize fine match of remote sensing image and template image to locate the position of template image in remote sensing image accurately. Simulation experiment proves that the matching of a remote sensing image resolution of 1018*1530 and a template image resolution of 150*90 can be fulfilled within 2.392 second
wavelet transform is used to acquire low frequency component to realize image compression to decrease calculation work and increase matching speed. Harris corner detection algorithm is used to detect corner of remote sensing image and template image and energy of every corner is calculated
the algorithm is robust and effective

Template matching is the process of searching the present and the location of a reference image or an object in a scene image. Template matching is a classical problem in a scene analysis: given a reference image of an object
decide whether that object exists in a scene image under analysis
and find its location if it does. The template matching process involves cross-correlating the template with the scene image and computing a measure of similarity between them to determine the displacement. The conventional matching method used the spatial cross-correlation process which is computationally expensive. Some algorithms are proposed for this speed problem
such as pyramid algorithm
but it still can't reach the real-time for bigger model image. Moreover
the cross-correlation algorithm can't be effective when the object in the image is rotated. Therefore
the conventional algorithms can't be used for practical purpose. In this paper
an algorithm for a rotation invariant template matching method based on different value circular projection target tracking algorithm is proposed. This algorithm projects the model image as circular and gets the radius and the sum of the same radius pixel value. The sum of the same radius pixel value is invariable for the same image and the any rotated angle image. Therefore
this algorithm has the rotation invariant property. In order to improve the matching speed and get the illumination invariance
the different value method is combined with circular projection algorithm. This method computes the different value between model image radius pixel sum and the scene image radius pixel sum so that it gets the matching result. The pyramid algorithm also is been applied in order to improve the matching speed. The high speed hardware system also is been design in order to meet the real time requirement of target tracking system. The results show that this system has the good rotate invariance and real-time property.

In many computer vision tasks
in order to improve the accuracy and robustness to the noise
wavelet analysis is preferred for the natural multi-resolution property. However
the wavelet representation suffers from the dependency of the starting point of the sampled contour. For overcoming the problem that the wavelet representation depends on the starting point of the sampled contour
the Zernike moments are introduced
and a novel Starting-Point-lndependent wavelet coefficient shape matching algorithm is presented. The proposed matching algorithm firstly gains the object contours
and give the translation and scale invariant object shape representation. The object shape representation is converted to the dyadic wavelet representation by the wavelet transform. And then calculate the Zernike moments of wavelet representation in different scales. With respect to property of rotation invariant of Zernike moments
consider the Zernike moments as the feature vector to calculate the dissimilarity between the object and template image
which overcoming the problem of dependency of starting point. The experimental results have proved the proposed algorithm to be efficient
precise
and robust.
