This paper presents a new fast target recognition algorithm
the proposed method is based on Multi-scale Auto convolution(MSA) and Multi-scale Retinex(MSR). As shown by the comparison with original MSA
it appears that this new technique solves the problem that MSA algorithm is sensitive to illumination and the computational load is significantly reduced to 1/8th of that of the original MSA algorithm
it is also robust to affine transform
light projective transform
noise
thin fog
occlusion and illumination change. the performed experiments show that it has fast searching speed
and can accurately recognize and locate target in real scenes. 2012 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem of high non-uniformity of LED display images which is caused by the edges of LED display panel during module splicing
transitional compensation algorithm is proposed by improving the existed correction technique named the correction technique based on CCD. First
introduce the three development stages of the LED display panel. Then
the realization progress of the transitional compensation algorithm is described in detail after elaborating the principle of transitional compensation. Finally
the algorithm is emplaned in a LED video control system to control the LED display panel whose display area is 1280960
and which is spliced by 3020 LED modules whose size are 6432. Experimental results show that this algorithm is able to reduce non-uniformity of LED display images from 29.3% before correcting to 0.95%. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

A classical joint transform correlator (JTC) usually yields large correlation sidelobes as well as a large correlation peak width
strong zero-order peak
and low diffraction efficiency
which make the detection ability of JTC lower. To overcome these difficulties
firstly
a joint power spectrum (JPS) subtraction technique in Fourier plane was proposed
where reference image power spectrum and object image power spectrum are subtracted from the JPS before inverse Fourier-transform operation
it is obvious that the modified JPS removes the zero-order term. Secondly
a fringe-adjusted filter (FAF) was presented to suppress sidelobes and noises. The modified JPS is multiplied by a FAF before the inverse Fourier-transform operation to obtain the cross-correlation peak. Computer simulations demonstrated the improved method can obviously remove zero-order diffraction and effectively suppress the sidelobes and noises compared with classic JTC
and then improve the detection ability for JTC. Experimental results presented the sharp correlation peak and also confirmed the method effectiveness. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

The reliability flight property has received much attention within the aircraft control community throughout the last decades. In this paper
the fault-tolerant control technique is introduced into the attitude stability control system of a quadrotor UAV in order to compensate the influence of the actuators fault of the aircraft. This control scheme is composed of two components: a robust fault detection module using the modelbased observation approach and a reconfigurable controller. Besides the designing procedure
the theoretical analysis of robustness and stability of the designed FTC scheme are also contained in this article. And finally
the availability of the proposed scheme is verified through numerical simulation. 2012 IEEE.

Subpixel technique of linear CCD is effective to enhance the spatial resolution without increasing the focal length of optics and reducing the pixel size. To compare image quality of two main subpixel imaging modes
quincunx sampling and four-point sampling
a method to quantitatively evaluate image quality of subpixel based on MTF was proposed. The MTF of quincunx and four-point sampling modes were derived. Analytical results shows that theoretical limiting resolution of quincunx sampling and four-point sampling is improved to 1.4 and 1.86 times respectively
and MTF values at Nyquist frequency of two modes are increased by 0.1106 and 0.1679
respectively. MTFA in (0
0.5) of two subpixel imaging modes were calculated and results illustrates that four-point sampling offers much more improvement with image quality than quincunx sampling
at the cost of double amount of data. A model for simulating subpixel imaging using Matlab was established
and simulation results of spoke target verify the theoretical analysis. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

Image registration is a key technique in pattern recognition and image processing
and it is widely used in many application areas such as computer vision
remote sensing
image fusion and object tracking. A method for image registration combining Mexican-hat wavelets and pseudo-Zernike moments is proposed. Firstly
feature points are extracted using scale-interaction Mexican-hat wavelets in the reference image and sensed image respectively. Then
pseudo-Zernike moments are used to match them and classical RANSAC used to eliminate the wrong matches. And then
the well match points are used to estimate the best affine transform parameters by least squares minimization. At last
the sensed image is transformed and resampled to accomplish the image registration. The experiments indicate that the proposed algorithm extracts feature points and matches them exactly and eliminates wrong matched points effectively and achieves nice registration results. 2012 TSI Press.

In this paper
the mathematical modeling and the application of a new trajectory tracking control technique for hydraulic-driven rigid-flexible manipulator are concerned. To get a closer dynamic behavior of the real system
both the flexible manipulator linkage and the actuator dynamics are considered. The exact dynamic model of flexible manipulator is derived using Lagrange principle and assumed modes method. The partial decoupled dynamic equation is derived using nonlinear decoupling feedback control method. The whole dynamic model is established by a driven Jacobin matrix
which represents the coupling between hydraulic servo system and mechanical system. A variable structure controller with inverse dynamics is designed for trajectory tracking. To weaken the chattering of control signal
saturation function is used to instead of sign function. The experimental results investigate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches. 2012 IEEE.

In order to realize autostereoscopic 3D projecting display with higher brightness and larger size
a technique of autostereoscopic 3D projecting using parallax barriers and lenticular sheets is proposed.The parameter design of lenticular sheets and parallax barriers is investigated.First
projection distance of projector array is confirmed according to eye's resolution
then the strips' character of lenticular sheets is analysed by zemax in four-view situation
thickness and parameters of strips of lenticular sheets are confirmed. Finally
the width of slit and pitch and viewing distance and etc of parallax barriers are confirmed according to parameters of strips of lenticular sheets.Data analysis indicate that the brightness of our four-view image is increased three times because of using lenticular sheets instead of parallax barriers comparing with the autostereoscopic 3D projector using two parallax barriers plates.Parameters design of parallax barriers and lenticular sheets are finished
the feasibility and advantages of the 3D display of projecting are confirmed theoretically. 2011 IEEE.

In terms of large field view and multi-channel TDICCD remote sensing images
previous interpolation methods and curve fitting methods are not able to achieve the high accuracy and fast registration
and their noise immunity and robustness is not high. For that
this paper presents a more accurate and faster method
iterative pixel interpolation and surface fitting method. Firstly
the method uses the some overlapping pixels between multi-channel images. Secondly
the proposed technique
which is based on the maximization of the correlation coefficient function
combines an efficient pixel-moving interpolation scheme with surface fitting
which makes use of accurate interpolation calculation and fast surface fitting in the iterative process. Finally
the accuracy and speed of the algorithm is evaluated by sub-pixel registration of multi-channel images and comparison with other sorts of efficient methods. The experiment results show that the accuracy of the method reaches 0.01 pixels and it is 3 times faster than the interpolation method. In the registration of large field view and multi-channel TDICCD images
the method is accurate and fast
with greatly high stability

In the field of remote sensing imaging
TDICCD remote sensing images have a lot of their own characteristics
such as high-resolution
large amount of information
less overlapping parts of pixels
additional image blurring etc. Therefore
there exist many difficulties
especially in terms of high-accuracy registration of pairs of images. For that
this paper presents two new pixel interpolation method for sub-pixel level registering images that allows for scaling
translation and rotation. The proposed technique
which is based on the maximization of the correlation coefficient function
combines an efficient pixel-moving interpolation scheme with surface fitting
which greatly reduces the overall computational cost. The accuracy of the algorithm is evaluated by calculating correlation coefficient of couples of points belonging to images transformed with preset factors and also comparing it to other sorts of methods. The experiment results show that the accuracy of registration reaches 0.01 pixels. 2010 IEEE.
