We study the alignment performance of this new material called SY04  which contains two azo groups. In order to improve stability of the photoaligned film  a sort of PI material is mixed. A fast response performance and a good electro-optical performance are acquired. These alignment materials can provide good thermo-stability and is stable under weak UV irradiation as well.
