| 附注 | NS2 (Network Simulator Version2) as open source software, it lacks the ability to simulate some latest de-veloped algorithms. This leads to the requirement of the functional extension of the current version. This paper focus-es on the description of the extension principle and implementation details of NS2, and presents the entire process of research on network behavior by using NS2 simulator. The structure of NS2 and the PID (Proportional Integral Differ-ential) control principle for the network congestion control are first described 1 and then the details of the extension principle and its implementation procedures are presented with the PID congestion control algorithm as an example. Fi-nally , the simulation of PID is carried out and the result is compared with those generated from the RED and PI algo-rithms. |
