简介 : 中国科学院亚热带农业生态研究所（The Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, The Chinese Academy of Sciences.）的前身是中国科学院桃源农业现代化研究所，成立于1978年6月19日。1979年更名为中国科学院长沙农业现代化研究所。2002年5月，研究所整体进入中国科学院知识创新工程试点序列。2003年10月更名为中国科学院亚热带农业生态研究所。研究所学科方向为亚热带复合农业生态系统生态学，重点开展农业生态系统格局与过程调控、畜禽健康养殖与农牧系统调控技术和作物耐逆境分子生态学机理及其品种选育等三个方面的研究。
