中文摘要Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and wireless sensor networks (WSN) are both wireless technologies that provide limitless future potentials for data gathering, management and control in physical environment. While the rapid growth in developing and applying RFID and WSN technologies, these two technologies would benefit greatly by learning from each other. In this paper, a new scheme that utilizes and integrates both technologies for transportation monitoring system is presented, namely wireless sensor frequency identification transportation monitoring network (WSITN). The abstract hardware and software structure of wireless sensor frequency identification network (WSIN) node are described, and its network architecture is also put forward in advance. A prototype system is implemented. The results show the new scheme to be feasible and efficient.
