英文摘要 | Mitochondria are the energy factory of living cells, which are a major source of cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS plays a key role in the regulation of several physiological functions, as well asdisease development such as aging, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Since its variety of species and high activity, how to detect the mitochondrial ROS seems to be difficult and challenging, and one of the approaches is to use mitochondrial targeting fluorescentprobe. In this review, we introduce the recent strategies in designing fluorescent probes for selectively imaging the mitochondrial ROS, as well as the applications and research trends of these ROS probes. |
