英文摘要The utility model relates to a length measuring instrument which belongs to a device for measuring the length of a wire rope. A control circuit of the utility model is composed of a central controller CPU, a display nixie tube for an output driver, an input interface and a sensor on equipment, wherein, the sensor is provided with a write head, a preliminary read head, a reread head and a direction distinction part. The sensor is installed on production equipment, and the write head and the read heads are respectively installed at the end of the rear head of a produced wire of which the middle part is predetermined measurement signals are inputted into the CPU, and then, the display nixie tube can display the length of the wire rope. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, convenient installation and use and high measurement precision, and can be installed on various production lines to use.
