中文摘要Li-ion battery has been broadly used in industrial and commercial areas in recent years for its advantages of no leaks, no pollution and no noises. As the traditional passive charge equalization scheme only work at late period of the charge process, the imbalance of the battery cells’ SOC (state of charge) may not be equalized in a short time and some cells of the battery string would be overcharged, which could reduce the cycle life of the battery stack. So we presented a new equalization scheme by improving the traditional one. Besides equalizing at late period of the charge process, in the new scheme each battery cell’s SOC is evaluated through voltage gradient, and equalization is applied according to the evaluation result at early period to reduce the SOC imbalance. Both equalization schemes are applied to the same battery stack separately and the OCV(open circuit voltage)-SOC curve shows clearly that the improved scheme could successfully reduce voltage imbalance at early period and no battery cells are overcharged while the traditional one failed to prevent overcharge, which verified the effectiveness of our work.
