中文摘要无线传感器网络是由大量微型传感器节点组成的分布式、自组织网络,传感器节点由感应器、处理器、通信模块等多个MEMS系统组成,传感器之间多采用短距离无线通信,并按一定的网络拓扑结构组成一个信息获取系统。可广泛应用于军事、交通、环境监测、空间探索、医疗设备、工业监控、家庭网络等各种领域。本论文旨在总结探讨无线传感器网络技术的国内外发展现状、无线传感器网络的各项相关技术的研究进展、以及未来的研究热点问题等的基础之上,对无线传感器网络技术在交通监控领域的应用进行研究。论文基于无线传感器网络技术构建一个新型高速公路交通监控系统,充分利用无线传感器网络的可扩展性、动态性以及无线通信等特点,将有效改善现有交通监控系统的功能,以推进我国高速公路信息化、网络化和智能化建设。车辆行驶速度是交通监控系统中一个最为重要的参数,所以我们首先对系统中测速功能的实现进行了研究,在Crossbow无线传感器网络平台和TinyOS操作系统环境下,利用无线磁力传感器实现了多传感器节点对行驶车辆速度的测量,并将其与其他常用测速方法和设备进行了比较,得出无线传感器网络具有成本低廉、易于布置、环境适应性强等优势。

英文摘要Sensor, computer and communication are the most important makeups of information technology. Combined with the fast development of MEMS and network technology, sensor technology has brought us a new technology of information acquisition, which is Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) technology. WSN is a novel technology of information acquisition and processing, which integrates the technologies of sensor, network, and MEMS. And it can be widely deployed for measurement, detection and monitoring. WSNs is a sensor swarm comprised of abundant microsensors. In many fields, they have uncomparable advantages to traditional information acquisition technologies. Moreover, the rapid improvement of modern transportation infrastructure, especially the construction of highway, has made it clear that transportation construction can remarkably accelerate the development of social economy. Meanwhile, it has also brought us many problems, such as how to improve transportation efficiency, how to guarantee transportation safety, how to enhance transportation management, etc.. And these problems have urged highway to informatization, network, and intelligence. Highway Transportation Monitoring System (HTMS) is one of the results. In this paper, a new type of highway transportation management system based on wireless sensor network technology is presented, which efficiently utilize their merits of distribution, expandability and so on. It will effectively improve the functions of present HTMS and promote the informatization, network, and intelligence of highway. Since the speed of vehicles is a most important parameter in HTMS, we made the speed acquisition as our work of first step. We used wireless magnetometer senors to measure the speed of vehicles, based on Crossbow wireless sensor network platform and TinyOS operation system. And compared this method with other traditional methods.
