Aimed at aerospace roll stabilization  control arithmetic based on model reference sliding mode variable structure theory and chattering reduction arithmetic are formulated. Correctness and validity of arithmetic are analyzed. With flight dynamics  the roll-loop mathematic model and reference model are established. Sliding hyperplane is deduced based on model reference sliding mode variable structure theory. Combing with reaching law  control law is derived  and stability of roll-loop is analyzed. Chattering of aileron instructions is alleviate by using boundary layer approach. Digital flying simulation result shows that variable structure control arithmetic realized roll stabilization control  the roll angle is less than 5.3 under powered flight  and that of unpowered flight is less than 0.5  respectively. The command fin angle is less than 1.5. High frequency chattering of fin command nearby the minimum velocity was trailed off by chattering reduction arithmetic. The sliding mode control arithmetic show good performance when aerodynamic coefficients varies 20%. The control arithmetic is easy to be implemented for its simplicity. 2011 IEEE.

Vibration of the support is an important factor to the accuracy of strapdown inertial navigation. To get vibration characteristics of the support  FEM model of the support was created with Ansys  and then response characteristics were analyzed on the support under the separated random loads during carrier flight  including the phases of subsonic and subsonic. To validate the analysis method  wide band random vibration test was done on the points of the support  which are used for mounting inertial instruments. The comparison of the analysis and the test data shows that the relative error of analysis result is not more than 13%. According to the two results the support structure was improved. Finally random vibration analysis was carried out on the improved one. The result shows that the acceleration response was largely reduced than before. This research can be a reference of performance improvement of the strapdown inertial support and navigation system precision. 2011 IEEE.

Mathematical models of structural optimization were established for the cam wave generator  then a conceptual model  by integrally taking its static and dynamic performance into consideration  which satisfied the model acted by four concentrated forces  while the dynamic optimum design was carried out. The topology optimization of the cam wave generator was performed based on artificial material density method  was obtained. And the size optimization of the cam wave generator was also executed based on the zero-order method in software Ansys after setting up its parameterized model. The optimized results indicate that its final volume declines to 1284.217mm3 from its 1397.830mm3  which reduced by 42.18% than the original volume of cam (2221.224mm3). Simultaneously  the static analysis and modal analysis were implemented  and the results show that the static and dynamic performance complies with the design requirements  proving that the results of dynamic optimum design are reasonable. The optimized results in paper are realizable in engineering. And the study method provides not only a reference to decreasing design mass and lowering inertia of the cam wave generator  but also an important basis of lightweight design of harmonic gear drive. 2011 IEEE.

Theoretical analysis and experimental study were carried out on the high-power CO2 laser disturbance to long-wave infrared (LWIR) HgCdTe detector in this paper. Based on the practical parameters of experiment  the theoretical model of temperature-rise is adopted to calculate the variation of the temperature with the time and the power of laser for laser irradiation on the detector. After that  the damage threshold is 110W/cm2. This experimental phenomenon well agrees with the results predicted by the theoretical calculation. The conclusions have a certain reference value for the laser defense of detector. 2011 IEEE.  the high-power laser damage mechanism to LWIR detector is discussed  and compares with the experimental results of laser irradiation the detector on the distance of 15km. The theoretical and experimental results demonstrate that the interference threshold of the detector is 20.5W/cm 2

Aircraft simulation platform is the most important supporting technology in the aircraft development process. This simulation platform can be used for validating the design of subsystem and also it provides the necessary data for the Aircraft design. Wind has great impact on the flight parameter. In order to accurately simulate the wind model and calculate the flight parameters  a simulation modeling method for flight parameter simulation platform under wind field environment is established. Firstly  the various sub-systems which affecting flight parameters are analyzed  some mathematical models of the flight parameter simulation platform is established. Secondly  the atmospheric wind field is studied to analyze the impact on its trajectory. Then the model is built in the Simulink toolbox in the Matlab which is based on the principles of hierarchy and modularity  using C MEX S-function for the complex kinetic equations. Finally  when the models have been established  encapsulating models for several subsystem and assembling them for the Aircraft simulation platform based on the unified interface. The simulation tests (including the performance test of a certain gliding Aircraft  the wind influence test of a certain uncontrolled aircraft) prove the simulation capability of the platform  and its calculating step can reach 1 ms. Comparing simulation with field test data of a certain uncontrolled aircraft  it shows that the relative deviation of range is 0.47%  the relative deviation of maximal altitude is 2.1%. Taking relevant standards as a reference standard  it is demonstrated the platform is reliable  meets the engineering accuracy requirements. 2010 IEEE.

We calculate the influence of temperature change on the refractive index of air  establish a model of air temperature distribution and analyze the effect of different temperature distribution on the high accuracy interferometric metrology. First  a revised Edlen formula is employed to acquire the relation between temperature and refractive index of air  followed by introducing the fixed temperature gradient distribution among the spatial grid within the optical cavity between the reference flat and the test flat of the Fizeau interferometer  accompanied by a temperature change random function within each grid. Finally  all the rays through the air layer with different incident angles are traced by Matlab program in order to obtain the final output position  angle and OPD for each ray. The influence of different temperature distribution and the length of the optical cavity in on the testing accuracy can be analyzed through the RMS value that results from repeatable rays tracing. As a result  the horizontal distribution (vertical to optical axis) has a large effect on the testing accuracy. Thus  to realize the high accuracy figure metrology  the horizontal distribution of temperature must be rigorously controlled as well as to shorten the length of the optical cavity to a large extent. The results from our simulation are of great significant for the accuracy analysis of interferometric testing and the research of manufacturing a interferometer. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

A nonlinear control strategy for controlling a motion system with mechanical resonance is presented in this paper. A mathematical model of the servo system is derived according to the parameters of an actual system. By using two Tracking-Differentiators  reference input and system output are tracked and their differential signals are given simultaneously. A nonlinear PD control law in velocity loop is designed based on non-smooth feedback. The simulation results show that the control law is superior remarkably in performance to linear PD control law and the classical PID control law. Tracking-Differentiator resolves the contradiction between rapidity and overshoot of system response. The nonlinear PD control law improves system dynamic performance and intensifies the ability of disturbance rejection. The control design achieved in this paper makes the servo system more robust. 2010 IEEE.
