In order to solve the problem that the weight of large scale theodolite's casting or steel plate welded structure is too heavy  lightweight design of large scale turntable based on topology optimization of continuum structure is investigated. Topology optimization could have better optimization efficiency because it can provide the optimized distribution of material and gain optimized structure in conceptual design phase of the structural design. In order to obtain lightweight and high stiffness structure  a truss turntable based on topology optimization of continuum structure is presented  and the validity of this lightweight structure is examined by finite element analysis. Comparing to the traditional welding steel turntable  the lightweight turntable  without changing the static displacement  can lose 386.48 kg(lightweight ratio is 26.7%)  and its first-order natural frequency raises from 167.02Hz to 173.71Hz. Meanwhile  in other aspects this turntable also has better performance than traditional structure. 2012 IEEE.

The thermal control indicators CAE methods of Space optical remote sensor are analyzed in the presented work. We sat up a thermal optical analysis model for space optical remote sensor. By assuming fully covered by in-orbit temperature load  and using the finite element method for thermal deformation analysis  we obtained the optical remote sensor surface deformation and displacement under various thermal loading. Using ZERNIKE polynomial  wave was fitted to obtain ZERNIKE polynomial coefficients which were incorporated into the optical system design. Using CODE V optical calculation software  heat-ray machines under elastic deformation of the system point spread function  transfer function (MTF)  wave front differential (WFE) etc. were calculated. Image quality changes of remote sensors are discussed in variety assumed cases such as temperature loads of quality change. By repeated iteration  critical value of temperature fields meeting the design requirements are obtained for the optical system. Optical indicators were converged to the temperature field indicator  then reasonable indicators of thermal control for remote sensors were obtained. A concentric glass spherical dome was usually chosen as the transparent window mounted in front of the optical lens in an image seeker. However  optical ray had to change its direction when propagating through the dome due to refraction unless passing through the center of the dome  which demanded gimbal point coincide with the center of the dome exactly. In fact  gimbal point displacement could not be eliminating due to fabrication  assembly and vibration  therefore the optical axis pointing error generated. In this paper  the effect of gimbal point displacement on optical axis pointing precision in an image seeker was analyzed  and the theoretical expression of the optical axis pointing error was derived based on geometric optics  and the error dynamics was explored by numerical. Take a visible light image seeker as a case  the thickness of concentric glass spherical dome was 8mm and the inner radius was 72mm  and the optical axis pointing errors varying dynamically with the look angle and the gimbal point displacement were shown in graph. When the gimbal displacement was 0.11mm  the maximum optical axis pointing error was 0.054mrad that is equal to the instantaneous field of view (IFOV) corresponding to the camera system whose focal length was 120mm and pixel size was 6.5m. Furthermore  with the gimbal displacement increasing  the optical axis pointing error increased linearly. The analyzed results provided a theoretical basis for the displacement range  which had to be limited strictly in the gimbal design process. 2011 IEEE.

Modulation transfer function resulting from random vibration was analyzed. To conclude that the effect of angular displacement was the major factor. Allowable MTF degradation was represented  and 34dB reduction was achieved at frequency of 100HZ. With the help of MSC.ADAMS simulation software  and convert allowable MTF degradation into stable system design parameters  simulated curve proves correct for isolator  which can guide perfect design for stabilization system. Based on the spatial mechanism and translational principle of parallelogram  and the irrotational displacement mechanism was tested by optical method  an irrotational displacement isolator was developed. It can meet the requirements of irrotational displacement and damp. An instance was given  coupled angle is less than 8?  it can satisfy the demand of aerial imaging. (2011) Trans Tech Publications.
