A method to find the optimized parameter values of passive dynamic walking biped is presented. The effects of biped physical parameters on the stability property of passive gaits are studied by simulation experiments. The chosen parameters include the mass distribution  length of leg and slope angle. The stability property of passive walking limit cycles is used as criterion of optimization calculation  including the orbital stability described by eigen-values of linearized Poincare map and the global property described by size of attraction region. The simulation results show how the stability of limit cycle varies when physical parameters of the passive biped change. The work is useful to explore the inherent property of passive dynamic walking and can be used as an important instruction in the mechanical design of biped robots based on principle of passive dynamic walking. This article proposes a new fuzzy controller based on information integration. The mathematical model of Linear double inverted pendulum has been studied and estabLished with dynamics analytical method and LQR theory is used to design the optimal Linear inverted pendulum controller  then  the integration technology is used to design the variable parameters self-tuning fuzzy controller. Thereby  the fuzzy controller input variable dimension and the number of fuzzy control rules have been extremely reduced. Two controllers are designed for inverted pendulum system control and the comparison simulation experiments have been done. The results show that the controllers can both reaLize good control  and the fuzzy controller has higher precision  faster response  better stabiLity and robustness. 2011 IEEE.

In order to satisfy requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor and implement the high integration of software  a kind of VxWorks-based multitask software architecture was put forward. Firstly  the technological requirements of optical remote sensor were analyzed in detail and functions and performances of the optical remote sensor were fixed. Task that was based on each function of optical remote sensor was compartmentalized. Then  software architecture of optical remote sensor was designed. Finally  experiments were carried out and results verified the accuracy and feasibility of the software architecture. Test results showed that the software architecture satisfied the requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor  its functions and performances met the system design target perfectly  and the software architecture was applicable to the engineering application of space instrument. 2011 IEEE.

The Timing Generator's functions of Scientific Grade CCD Camera is briefly presented: it generates various kinds of impulse sequence for the TDI-CCD  video processor and imaging data output  acting as the synchronous coordinator for time in the CCD imaging unit. The IL-E2TDI-CCD sensor produced by DALSA Co.Ltd. use in the Scientific Grade CCD Camera. Driving schedules of IL-E2 TDI-CCD sensor has been examined in detail  the timing generator has been designed for Scientific Grade CCD Camera. FPGA is chosen as the hardware design platform  schedule generator is described with VHDL. The designed generator has been successfully fulfilled function simulation with EDA software and fitted into XC2VP20-FF1152 (a kind of FPGA products made by XILINX). The experiments indicate that the new method improves the integrated level of the system. The Scientific Grade CCD camera system's high reliability  stability and low power supply are achieved. At the same time  the period of design and experiment is sharply shorted. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.
