The traditional Hausdorff measure, which uses Euclidean distance metric (L2 norm) to define the distance between coordinates of any two points, has poor performance in the presence of the rotation and scale change although it is robust to the noise and occlusion. To address the problem, we define a novel similarity function including two parts in this paper. The first part is Hausdorff distance between shapes which is calculated by exploiting shape context that is rotation and scale invariant as the distance metric. The second part is the cost of matching between centroids. Unlike the traditional method, we use the centroid as reference point to obtain its shape context that embodies global information of the shape. Experiment results demonstrate that the function value between shapes is rotation and scale invariant and the matching accuracy of our algorithm is higher than that of previously proposed algorithm on the MEPG-7 database.

In this paper  we propose an efficient method to generate optimal multiresolution dynamic models. By the method  we define the triangle importance degree as a weight parameter to be embedded to the edge contraction cost  so the new metric can not only measure distance error but also reflect geometric variation of local areas. A deformation degree weight is appended to the aggregated edge contraction cost for the whole animation  thus sharp features on areas with large deformation can be preserved. In addition  a process of mesh optimization and validity check can further alleviate the geometric distortion of the approximations. Our approach is efficient in operation  easy for implementation  and as a result high quality of dynamic approximations with well-preserved fine details can be generated at any given frame. 2010 IEEE.

The infrared radiation character (temperature and efficiency radiation area) of a space object is an important characteristic  we can judge the state of the object working in orbit by measuring temperature and variety. Due to lower temperature of the object and far distance between the object and the earth  the infrared radiation signal is faintness  therefore temperature and the infrared radiation character is difficult to measure. There are several methods to measure the temperature of the object in theory and each one has its applicability respectively  such as applying Wien Law to compute temperature  based on Stefan-Bolzmann law to compute temperature and utilizing multi-spectrum detector to measure temperature As a whole these methods are based on the hypothesis that the object is a Black-body or the radiance emissivity is constant. In fact  homochromatic radiance of object is not a constant but a function that changes with wavelength. Since the problem that an object whose homochromatic radiance s not a constant which results in temperature can not be computed accurately  we bring forward a method to contrast the luminance of the object at different wavelengths and deduce the relationship among homochromatic radiance and wavelength and the temperature of Black-body  from which we can compute real temperature of object. 2009 SPIE.

High speed photograph measuring instrument is mainly used to measure and track the exterior ballistics  which can measure the flying position of the missile in the initial phase and trajectory. A new high speed photograph measuring instrument is presented in this paper. High speed photography measuring system records the parameters of object real-time  and then acquires the flying position and trajectory data of the missile in the initial phase. The detection distance of high speed photography is more than 4.5km  and the least detection distance is 450m  under the condition of well-balanced angular velocity and angular acceleration  program pilot track error less than 5. This instrument also can measure and record the flying trail and trajectory parameters of plane  aero naval missile.
