The thin-walled baffle design of the space-based camera is an important job in the lightweight space camera research task for its stringent quality requirement and harsh mechanical environment especially for the thin-walled baffle of the carbon fiber design. In the paper  an especially thin-walled baffle of the carbon fiber design process was described and it is sound significant during the other thin-walled baffle design of the space camera. The designer obtained the design margin of the thin-walled baffle that structural stiffness and strength can tolerated belong to its development requirements through the appropriate use of the finite element analysis of the walled parameters influence sensitivity to its structural stiffness and strength. And the designer can determine the better optimization criterion of thin-walled baffle during the geometric parameter optimization process in such guiding principle. It sounds significant during the optimum design of the thin-walled baffle of the space camera. For structural stiffness and strength of the carbon fibers structure which can been designed  the effect of the optimization will be more remarkable though the optional design of the parameters chose. Combination of manufacture process and design requirements the paper completed the thin-walled baffle structure scheme selection and optimized the specific carbon fiber fabrication technology though the FEM optimization  and the processing cost and process cycle are retrenchment/saved effectively in the method. Meanwhile  the weight of the thin-walled baffle reduced significantly in meet the design requirements under the premise of the structure. The engineering prediction had been adopted  and the related result shows that the thin-walled baffle satisfied the space-based camera engineering practical needs very well  its quality reduced about 20%  the final assessment index of the thin-walled baffle were superior to the overall design requirements significantly. The design method is reasonable and efficient to the other thin-walled baffle that mass and work environment requirement is requirement harsh. 2011 SPIE.

In order to get enough information about the target  avoid big chromatic aberration as a result of wide spectrum and the complexity of optical system and adapt different special environment temperature  a hybrid refractive/harmonic diffractive optical system in far-infrared multi-band is described in the paper. This diffractive optical system has been designed an athermalized multi-band imaging system with harmonic diffractive element in 15-50m spectrum  based on larger 1dispersion capability and particular thermal dispersive power of harmonic diffractive element. Then  at the temperature range from 0C to 40C  this design can simultaneously meet with all requirements of the imaging system in five harmonic wave bands  including15.8-16.2m  18.5-20m  23-25m  30.5-33.5m and 46-50m. In each harmonic wave band  the magnification changes as a function of wavelength  which creates image registration error. To compensate this shortcoming  a zoom optical system is designed with three lenses by means of optical two- component method. The design results show that the hybrid refractive/harmonic diffractive optical system can realize athermalized and achromatic design  and the zoom optical system makes half image height at 3.53mm in every harmonic wave band and still realizes aberration compensation action. In the five harmonic wave bands  each optical transfer function approaches the diffraction limit at ambient temperature range of 0C to 40C. Finally  the system realizes the requirements of portability  mini-type and ease for fabrication. 2009 SPIE.

With the development of the resolution of spaceborne remote sensor  the diameter of the primary mirror of spaceborne telescope becomes larger and larger. The distortion of primary mirror which is influenced by the mirror material  structure  self-weight  support system and temperature environment affects optical image quality finally. In this paper  an on-axis TMA high-resolution Cassegrain optical payload with a primary mirror whose diameter is 650mm was designed and the effects of the influence factors of the distortion acts on the on-axis TMA optical system primary mirror had been analyzed by means of Finite Element Analysis. During work  the technology of the primary mirror design had been summarized and general consideration of the primary mirror design technology also had been described at the same time. Considering the telescope manufacture and work station  a reasonable and optimal structure of the primary mirror sub-assembly is taken finally. In the end  the distortion of the primary mirror during its fabrication station and work station had been analyzed by integrated Finite Element Analysis Method. The results implicated the synthesis profile error (P-V value) for the primary mirror is less than /10 and all the indexes of the primary mirror satisfy the requirements of the optical system.
