In order to get the higher compression quality of multispectral remote sensing image  which taken the JPEG2000 as the standard  used FPGA and special compression chip ADV212 to realize the remote sensing image compression system is proposed. The system used the specialty compression chip ADV212 which is newly relaesed by Analog Device company. It used to develop fast high-quality compression for the large amount of remote sensing image data. The system realized the image data's input  the compression stream's output  the image preprocessing as well as to control the ADV212 chip's working pattern through FPGA. The experiment result shows that this system which has such characteristics as low power consumption. low cost and easy adjustmen and has a good compressing effect. Meet the requirement of the multispectral remote sensing image's high compression ratio. 2010 IEEE.

In current field of CCD measurement  large area and high resolution CCD is used to obtain big measurement image  so that  speed and capacity of CCD requires high performance of later storage and process system. The paper discusses how to use SCSI hard disk to construct storage system and use DSPs and FPGA to realize image compression. As for storage subsystem  Because CCD is divided into multiplex output  SCSI array is used in RAID0 way. The storage system is composed of high speed buffer  DMA controller  control MCU  SCSI protocol controller and SCSI hard disk. As for compression subsystem  according to requirement of communication and monitor system  the output is fixed resolution image and analog PAL signal. The compression means is JPEG2000 standard  in which  9/7 wavelets in lifting format is used. 2 DSPs and FPGA are used to compose parallel compression system. The system is composed of FPGA pre-processing module  DSP compression module  video decoder module  data buffer module and communication module. Firstly  discrete wavelet transform and quantization is realized in FPGA. Secondly  entropy coding and stream adaption is realized in DSPs. Last  analog PAL signal is output by Video decoder. Data buffer is realized in synchronous dual-port RAM and state of subsystem is transfer to controller. Through subjective and objective evaluation  the storage and compression system satisfies the requirement of system. 2009 SPIE.

On aviation mapping  compression image maybe not decode because of wireless transmission interference. UEP(Unequal Error Protection) scheme is put forward about layer and block structure of JPEG2000 image compression method  flexibly enhances local reconfigurable image's quality which is in favor of identifier in the region of interest. 2008 IEEE.  and realizes three degrees UEP of data block  data header  image data via various degrees correction-coding under the condition of obstruct  naked and shade. BCH  RS and Hamming coding are simulated  and image decoding success rate and image's quality are analyzed according to different coding and ROI (Region of Interest) in the Gaussian white noise model and rayleigh fading model. Results shows that the method we putted forward roughly improves decoding success rate  at the same time  almost not increasing bandwidth

It is difficult to get high compression ratio and good reconstructed image by conventional methods  we give a new method of compression on medical image. It is to decompose and reconstruct the medical image by wavelet packet. Before the construction the image  use neural network in place of other coding method to code the coefficients in the wavelet packet domain. By using the Kohonen's neural network algorithm  not only for its vector quantization feature  but also for its topological property. This property allows an increase of about 80% for the compression rate. Compared to the JPEG standard  this compression scheme shows better performances (in terms of PSNR) for compression rates higher than 30. This method can get big compression ratio and perfect PSNR. Results show that the image can be compressed greatly and the original image can be recovered well. In addition  the approach can be realized easily by hardware.
