The surface profile of Wolter type-I mirror has a great impact on the performance of Solar X-ray Telescope. According to the existing fabrication instrument and experimental conditions in our lab
an in situ Long Trace Profiler is developed and set up on the fabrication instrument in order to measure the surface profile of Wolter mirror in real time during fabrication process. Its working mechanism
structural parameters and data processing algorithm are investigated. The prototype calibrated by a standard plane mirror is used to measure a sample of Wolter type-I mirror. The results show that our prototype can achieve an accuracy of 2.6rad rms for slope error with a stability of 1.33rad during the whole measurement period. This can meet further fabrication requirements. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

Asphericity which affects the manufacturing process and the grinding quantity is an important parameter of optical aspherics. In this paper
the approximation
the least square fitting
wavefront aberration
sag methods are given for the calculation of optical asphericity. The effects of different definitions of optical asphericity are analysed to optimize the process of manufacture. A sag method is presented to solve the best-fit sphere and asphericity for an off-aixs aspheric mirror with a rectangle aperture of 180mm145mm
and polishing quantity and distribution plots are given. The optical manufacturing and testing technology for different choices of best-fit spheres and asphericity are described and analyzed. Therefore
proper definition of optical asphericity which is useful to manufacturing is very important for optical fabrication and test. 2009 SPIE.

It is a key point of CO2 laser beam monitoring in the CO 2 laser processing system to achieve alignment between CO2 laser and PL (pointing and launching) system. By monitoring the angle offset of CO2 laser beam
the compensation can be gotten witch is given to fast-steering mirror to rectify the direction of laser beam. But the normal photoelectric detector can not get the laser signal because of CO2 laser's high energy and long wavelength. Its wavelength is 10.6m and its power can reach kW level. Consequently
it is difficult to detect the high-energy 10.6m laser beam directly. So
we monitored the output mirror of laser resonator superseded the laser beam
indirectly. The laser beam monitoring system could be designed based on CCD laser auto-collimation angular measurement principle and image processing method. In this paper
application of CCD laser auto-collimation angular measurement principle and image processing method for CO2 laser beam monitoring system is introduced particularly

the monitoring system can be used for experimental study that including angular measurement accuracy and angle offset measurement of CO2 laser beam. Angle offset range and angle variation rule of CO2 laser beam is also can be acquired for further research.

With the development of the resolution of spaceborne remote sensor
the diameter of the primary mirror of spaceborne telescope becomes larger and larger. The distortion of primary mirror which is influenced by the mirror material
structure
self-weight
support system and temperature environment affects optical image quality finally. In this paper
an on-axis TMA high-resolution Cassegrain optical payload with a primary mirror whose diameter is 650mm was designed and the effects of the influence factors of the distortion acts on the on-axis TMA optical system primary mirror had been analyzed by means of Finite Element Analysis. During work
the technology of the primary mirror design had been summarized and general consideration of the primary mirror design technology also had been described at the same time. Considering the telescope manufacture and work station
a reasonable and optimal structure of the primary mirror sub-assembly is taken finally. In the end
the distortion of the primary mirror during its fabrication station and work station had been analyzed by integrated Finite Element Analysis Method. The results implicated the synthesis profile error (P-V value) for the primary mirror is less than /10 and all the indexes of the primary mirror satisfy the requirements of the optical system.

CCOS (Computer Control Optical Surfacing) technology is widely used for making aspheric mirrors. For most manufacturers
dwell time algorithm is usually employed to determine the route and dwell time of the small tools to converge the errors. In this article
a novel damp iterative algorithm is proposed. We chose revolutions of the small tool instead of dwell time to determine fabrication stratagem. By using resistance iterative algorithm
we can solve these revolutions. Several mirrors have been manufactured by this method
all of them have fulfilled the demand of the designers
a 1m aspheric mirror was finished within 3 months.
