Roll-pitch seeker is currently applied in particular missiles. There is a stubborn problem called zenith pass problem while roll-pitch seeker is used. Analysis of the zenith pass problem which always results in loss of target is presented in this paper. Based on the analysis result  tracking strategy is carried out to deal with zenith pass problem. To prove the validity of tracking strategy  a practical roll-pitch seeker was accomplished. Model identification and common PID controllers for the physical roll-pitch seeker are taken on  after that  both disadvantages derived from zenith pass problem in tracking process and meliorated phenomenons by the tracking strategy are shown. It is concluded that the tracking strategy designed for solving the zenith pass problem is efficient. 2011 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.

To develop a lift early warning infrared device  as a part of land or boat (ship) early warning system  the system has the ability to target pre-discovery and instructions invasion. Methods: In support of distant air situation  alerts the enemy aircraft  missiles and other long-range goals  obtain the target type and preliminary judgment of grade  deliver the alarm information to the command system. The infrared alarm device detects the target's own infrared radiation passively  alarms the incoming targets at low altitude and low altitude remote  when radar and other equipment is out of work. Results: The accuracy of entire system reached 20 according the analysis. Conclusions: The device has a full range of complex background  with high sensitivity  high resolution  anti-jamming  fast response time and other characteristics. Target detection and tracking technology in infrared image is an important part of modern military defense system. Infrared dim-point targets detection and recognition under complex background is a difficulty and important strategic value and challenging research topic. The main objects that carrier-borne infrared vigilance system detected are sea-skimming aircrafts and missiles. Due to the characteristics of wide field of view of vigilance system  the target is usually under the sea clutter. Detection and recognition of the target will be taken great difficulties.There are some traditional point target detection algorithms  such as adaptive background prediction detecting method. When background has dispersion-decreasing structure  the traditional target detection algorithms would be more useful. But when the background has large gray gradient  such as sea-sky-line  sea waves etc.The bigger false-alarm rate will be taken in these local area.It could not obtain satisfactory results. Because dim-point target itself does not have obvious geometry or texture feature  in our opinion  from the perspective of mathematics  the detection of dim-point targets in image is about singular function analysis.And from the perspective image processing analysis  the judgment of isolated singularity in the image is key problem. The foregoing points for dim-point targets detection  its essence is a separation of target and background of different singularity characteristics.The image from infrared sensor usually accompanied by different kinds of noise. These external noises could be caused by the complicated background or from the sensor itself. The noise might affect target detection and tracking. Therefore  the purpose of the image preprocessing is to reduce the effects from noise  also to raise the SNR of image  and to increase the contrast of target and background. According to the low sea-skimming infrared flying small target characteristics  the median filter is used to eliminate noise  improve signal-to-noise ratio  then the multi-point multi-storey vertical Sobel algorithm will be used to detect the sea-sky-line  so that we can segment sea and sky in the image. Finally using centroid tracking method to capture and trace target. There are mainly two kind of structures for a missile two-axes seeker  which is always mentioned as elevate-azimuth and roll-pitch. The elevate-azimuth structured seeker has been studied for a long time  and it is applied in all sort of missiles. Not only structure design but also control algorithm of the elevate-azimuth seeker are deeply developed. But for elevate-azimuth seeker there are several disadvantages such as big size and large abaxial angle blind. So the elevate-azimuth seeker gimbal angle is designed up to 65 according to relative references. In modern air war  it is important for a missile to have the ability of "first recognize" and "first attack". That means the air to air missile seeker is required to be a system with large gimbal angle and large abaxial launch angle. With the mentioned requirement  roll-pitch seeker with its advantages smart size and large gimbal angle is studied widely and deeply. The pitch angle of roll-pitch is up to 90 while its roll angle up to n 360. But there are also some disadvantages for the roll-pitch seeker  the most troublesome one is the zenith pass problem. The zenith pass problem is brought about from the gimbal kinematics  it is said that when target moves in the center of image plane  roll servo command gotten from the kinematics algorithm will go to infinite. Math model of zenith pass problem is proposed in this paper and two ways to solve the problem are brought forward. 2011 IEEE.

In order to apply the electromechanical actuator to tactical mini-missiles  maximum rotational speed of output shafts is greater than 250/s. Test results basically correspond to the requirement of technical indexes. It is proved that this analysis and design method is congruent with the design of micro-electromechanical actuators  this paper researches on the key technology such as load-bearing ability  the system bandwidth can reach 25.3Hz on the condition of no load and 23.4Hz on the condition of load  thus the method is feasible. 2010 IEEE.  rapidity and miniaturization of the micro-electromechanical actuator power system based on the ball screw. First  according to specific technical indexes  the power  electromechanical time constant and the size of the motors are screened originally through theoretical analysis. Finally  based on the characteristics of ball screw transmission  load locus of the micro-electromechanical actuator dynamic system is theoretically analyzed and the optimum speed ratio is determined through parameter optimization. The results of the double closed loop controlled test on the principle prototype show: the system can operate normally with 2.5N.m hinge moment
