Vision-based human action recognition provides an advanced interface
and research in this field of human action recognition has been actively carried out. This paper describes a scheme for recognizing human actions from a video sequences. The proposed method is an extension of the Motion History Image(MHI) method based on the ordinal measure of accumulated motion
which is robust to variations of appearances. We define the accumulated motion image(AMI) using image differences firstly. Then the AMI of the video sequencesis resized to a MN regulation following the standard of training phases. Finally
we employ Support Vector Machine(SVM) as a classifier to distinguish the current activity in target video sequences. In a word
our proposed algorithm not only outperforms the state of art on public available KTH data set and Weizmann data set
but also proves practical to some real world applications
in addition
this method is computationally simple and able to achieve a satisfactory accuracy.

The remote sensing camera in large field and wide cover needs CCD with enough pixels. But the existing CCD cannot satisfy the practical needs. Therefore several pieces of CCD which has insufficient pixels are spliced to get a long CCD array with plenty of pixels. The precision requirements of CCD splicing are very strict
so that the same high accuracies are required in the precision detection of CCD splicing. When detecting precision of CCD splicing
the graphical markers with simple geometric structure in the CCD package are selected as templates. The position precision data of the graphical markers in each CCD are obtained using the template matching algorithm. Using the unified objective templates
the focal plane which has multi-chip of CCD is detected by template matching algorithm. Experiment results show that the template matching algorithm can enhance the located precision of each CCD to 0.347m. The splicing precision detection with template matching algorithm can avoid the subjective error caused by the conventional detection method. And its results are more accurate. In addition
without manual intervention in the process of precision detection
the efficiency of precision detection is improved. 2011 IEEE.

This paper presents a new video synthesis method for flow patterns. We can use it to synthesize video of natural phenomena that exhibit continuous flow patterns. It is based on flow-based video synthesis algorithm
and combines partial ideas of graph cuts algorithm. This algorithm can process input videos of natural phenomena of flow patterns (e.g. rivers
flames and waterfalls)
and synthesize more realistic and active seamless video of arbitrary length than other algorithms. It is simple to implement. The results show that our method can produce satisfactory effects based on user inputs. 2010 IEEE.

Sea-sky-line extraction under complicated sea-sky background is an important aspect of long-range target tracking research. An algorithm based on improved local complexity is proposed according to the feature that the sky and the sea usually show up at different gray levels in sea-sky background images. Median filter is applied first to remove peak noise
and then the point set of sea-sky-line region which has the greatest change in image is obtained by calculating the local complexity of image and selecting a segmentation threshold. Finally
Hough transform is used to extract the sea-sky-line. The experiment results indicate that this method can extract sea-sky-line under simple and complicated sea-sky backgrounds
which is robust and can improve noise immunity of the algorithm. 2010 IEEE.

In image processing system
the target recognition is very crucial. An optimized algorithm based on the definition of block is presented. In this algorithm
two structure variables are self-defined to calculate the areas and centroids of targets. The labeling conflicts are resolved by tracking and correcting
which means that if there is a conflict
trace the neighbored blocks and correct the labels of them. Finally
the characteristics of blocks
which have the same label
are accumulated. This method has outstanding advantages in saving memory
compared with Pixel labeling algorithm and Run-length code algorithm. The new algorithm is simple and the results of target characteristics are easy to be analyzed and handled in the following processes. 2010 IEEE.

In order to predict the cost
a model of cost prediction was set up based on adaptive hierarchical genetic algorithm and RBF neural network. Hierarchical genetic algorithm could optimize the topology and the parameters simultaneously. Compared with simple genetic algorithm
it has more efficiency in not only accelerating and stabilizing the parameters training but also determining the structure of the network. Adaptive crossover and mutation probability could accelerate the speed and avoid prematurity. The model was tested by five samples. The results showed that the prediction model has high prediction accuracy
which indicated that it was applicable to predict the cost by the model. 2010 IEEE.

In order to identify the vibration parameters of a vibrated image
the principle and shortage of the traditional methods that based on image derivative and image transformation are analyzed
and a new parameter identification method is proposed afterward. By placing a high-speed CCD aside the master CCD
the vibration can be sampled accurately
and more information can be obtained for parameter identification. The series frames that captured by high-speed CCD are processed by gray projection algorithm and the vibration extents between adjacent frames along x and y direction are obtained. By using simple triangle operations
the vibration parameters can be identified
and the computational complexity of which can be reduced greatly. The experiment shows that the parameter identification method based on high-speed CCD can identify the parameters of vibration with any form accurately. The precise of parameter identification for linear vibration is less than 2.95%. 2010 IEEE.
