A PbZr0.52Ti0.48/Si structure has been made and analyzed using Farnell theory. The surface acoustic wave (SAW) decay factors and corresponding eigenvectors have been calculated in the layer and substrate
respectively. It was indicated that there is energy exchange between particle displacement u1 and u3 in the propagation of surface acoustic waves. 2001 Taylor Francis.
