The traditional Hausdorff measure, which uses Euclidean distance metric (L2 norm) to define the distance between coordinates of any two points, has poor performance in the presence of the rotation and scale change although it is robust to the noise and occlusion. To address the problem, we define a novel similarity function including two parts in this paper. The first part is Hausdorff distance between shapes which is calculated by exploiting shape context that is rotation and scale invariant as the distance metric. The second part is the cost of matching between centroids. Unlike the traditional method, we use the centroid as reference point to obtain its shape context that embodies global information of the shape. Experiment results demonstrate that the function value between shapes is rotation and scale invariant and the matching accuracy of our algorithm is higher than that of previously proposed algorithm on the MEPG-7 database.

This paper presents a new reentry guidance algorithm for RLV (Reusable Launching Vehicle). The algorithm consists of two integrated components: trajectory planning algorithm and tracking algorithm. The most striking feature of algorithm here lies in that both planning and tracking are executed directly in height-velocity space
which is different from the methodology of configuration of drag in traditional shuttle guidance. In the session of trajectory planning
all trajectory constraints can be expressed with upper bound and lower bound in height-velocity space
then a linear interpolation is carried to search the nominal trajectory satisfying the requirement of downrange and target constraints. Then the tracking algorithm uses feedback linearization method to track this nominal profile and meet all constraints. Another typical feature of this algorithm is the strategy of downrange extension using FPA (flight path angle) controller to fulfill the requirement of large downrange. Proper combination of planning-tracking algorithm and FPA controller can bring great flexibility and adaptability to reentry guidance. The algorithm is proved to be robust enough to accommodate the model error and noises in the dynamics. 2011 IEEE.

The target classifier is an ingredient of the target recognition system. In order to achieve the automation and computerization of target recognition
a method for training target classifier based on semi-supervised learning is provided. It adopts CFS algorithm for dada feature selection
and uses semi-supervised learning algorithm
Co-training to construct the target classifiers. The final classifier was produced through integration learning method. Experimental results show that the performance of the target classifier based on semi-supervised learning trained is superior to the traditional target classifier. 2011 IEEE.

During double flank rolling composite detection
the radial composite deviations of master gears has been existed and transferred to the measured gear by the primary harmonic curve. In order to improve measurement accuracy
a measuring instrument is developed for radial composite deviations of high-precision master gear in the paper. This instrument uses the structure of spring-suspend swing span to overcome the shortcomings of large rotation errors
low sensitivity
low resolution and large measuring force appearing in the traditional combination-type gear inspection instrument. Artificial intelligence technology is used to improve the efficiency and accuracy of this instrument. The result is that the measuring apparatus is able to meet the requirement and improve efficiency through the measuring experiments on master gears of precision grade 2 with modulus 2 mm and 3 mm

A new correlation tracking algorithm
layered fast correlation tracking algorithm combined with target feature
is proposed for target tracking in image sequences. Based on traditional correlation tracking algorithm
according to resolution of real-time image
the proposed algorithm chooses the designated layer image. At the same time the proposed algorithm uses a new search method combined with the target features to predict matching position
which can improve the matching precision and reduce computational complexity. In addition
the experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can overcome the influence of gray mutation and satisfy the requirement of real-time. 2009 SPIE.
