A coarse and fine combined fast search and auto-focusing algorithm was suggested in this paper. This method can automatically search and find the focal plane by evaluating the image definition. The Krisch operator based edge energy function was used as the big-step coarse focusing
and then the wavelet transform based image definition evaluation function
which is sensitivity to the variation in image definition
was used to realize the small-step fine focusing in a narrow range. The un-uniform sampling function of the focusing area selection used in this method greatly reduces the workload and the required time for the data processing. The experimental results indicate that this algorithm can satisfy the requirement of the optical measure equipment for the image focusing. (2012) Trans Tech Publications.

Software reliability analysis is a significant measure to guide design of software reliability. Now software fault tree method to carry on software reliability analysis is used more and more. But it can only qualitative carry on the analysis because of many reasons. For example
the scale of software is enlarging
the software architecture is getting more and more complex
the reason of software fault is very difficult to analyze
the software is difference with hardware
and it is very hard to obtain the expiration the quantitative data and so on. The space camera is extremely high to the reliable request. So the qualitative analysis is unable to satisfy the analysis request. In view of space camera characteristics
a method of fault tree analysis based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation is proposed. The results show that the new method makes software quantitative fault tree analysis possible and optimizes. It can also solve the problem of software component which is unable to quantize precisely. 2011 IEEE.

Evaluation function is an important item to measure the quality of images in auto-focusing systems. This paper introduces four categories of evaluation functions which are respectively based on gradient
correlation
statistics and transform. These functions formally differ from each other and their performances are not consistent when dealing with different images. The same function also performs different when the processed images have different characteristics. Five commonly used functions from the four categories are verified and compared under different circumstances in order to validate their performances. The result provides references for variety of selections in the practical application. 2010 IEEE.

In order to measure dynamic interpolation errors of photoelectric encoder of high precision
the dynamic evaluation system of interpolation errors is introduced. Firstly
the fine Moire signal of encoder which is collected with the high-speed data gathering card into the computer is treated to equiangular data with the method of linear interpolation. Then
the analysis of harmonic wave with the FFT is processed. Compared with the standard signal
the dynamic interpolation errors of the encoder are calculated. Experimental results show that the precision of the dynamic evaluation system of interpolation errors is 0.1 %( pitch). The evaluation system is simple

high precision
and can be used in the working field of the encoder. 2009 SPIE.

The key to the auto-focusing technique based on image processing is the selection of focus measure reflecting image definition. Usually the measures derived are on the premise of the images acquired with the same scene. As for the remote-sensing camera working in linear CCD push-broom imaging mode
the premise doesn't exist because the scenes shot are different at any moment
which brings about difficulties to the selection of the focus measure. To evaluate the image definition
the focus measure based on blur estimation for rough adjustment is proposed to estimate the focused position by only two different lens positions
which greatly saves the auto-focusing time. Another evaluation function based on edge sharpness is developed to find best imaging position in the narrow range. Simulations show that the combination of the two measures has the advantages of rapid reaction and high accuracy.
