There exist complex gray mapping relationships among infrared and visible images because of the different imaging mechanisms. The difficulty of infrared and visible image registration is to find a reasonable similarity definition. In this paper, we develop a novel image similarity called implicit linesegment similarity(ILS) and a registration algorithm of infrared and visible images based on ILS. Essentially, the algorithm achieves image registration by aligning the corresponding line segment features in two images. First, we extract line segment features and record their coordinate positions in one of the images, and map these line segments into the second image based on the geometric transformation model. Then we iteratively maximize the degree of similarity between the line segment features and correspondence regions in the second image to obtain the model parameters. The advantage of doing this is no need directly measuring the gray similarity between the two images. We adopt a multi-resolution analysis method to calculate the model parameters from coarse to fine on Gaussian scale space. The geometric transformation parameters are finally obtained by the improved Powell algorithm. Comparative experiments demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively achieve the automatic registration for infrared and visible images, and under considerable accuracy it makes a more significant improvement on computational efficiency and anti-noise ability than previously proposed algorithms.

In this paper  a nonlinear spring-damper hinge clearance model is considered to establish mechanical system structure of dynamic equations[46]  through a four-bar linkage hinge with multi-clearance rotation of ADAMS dynamic simulation for dynamics simulation study. Simulation results show that hinge clearance and link flexible in Four-link mechanism dynamics have a great impact on performance: connection with the clearance lead to pin holes to produce a series of collisions  and a larger initial impact force

In the field of remote sensing imaging  TDICCD remote sensing images have a lot of their own characteristics  such as high-resolution  large amount of information  less overlapping parts of pixels  additional image blurring etc. Therefore  there exist many difficulties  especially in terms of high-accuracy registration of pairs of images. For that  this paper presents two new pixel interpolation method for sub-pixel level registering images that allows for scaling  translation and rotation. The proposed technique  which is based on the maximization of the correlation coefficient function  combines an efficient pixel-moving interpolation scheme with surface fitting  which greatly reduces the overall computational cost. The accuracy of the algorithm is evaluated by calculating correlation coefficient of couples of points belonging to images transformed with preset factors and also comparing it to other sorts of methods. The experiment results show that the accuracy of registration reaches 0.01 pixels. 2010 IEEE.

Scene matching under complex background is a priority and difficulty in the field of computer vision  it has the characteristics of rotation and scaling invariance  commonly used in matching real-time collected images and photos for navigation. Scene matching techniques are faced with complex natural scenes  anti-light and anti-slight-distortion  the image distortion exist  applicable for complex scene matching. The project has a new idea: combining the keylines with the vectors description based on polar image translation  such as light  and utilize the rotation-scale-invariance vectors to describe the extracted keylines  change of gray levels  this method includes three steps: keylines extraction  perspective  description and matching. Preliminary experiments show that this keylines-based scene matching algorithm is applicable for image matching under complex background. 2010 IEEE.  scaling and other differences  which cause matching difficult. With applications in digital display  consumer electronics  medicine  automotive lighting  traffic signals  and general illumination  the light-emitting diode (LED) is the world's most efficient light source being mass produced today[1]. However  high cost is the main factor restricting widespread application of LED lighting  and the packaging is the most expensive aspect of LED products. Light emitting diodes (LED) are regarded as the most important light sources in solid-state lighting for their advantages in energy efficiency  long life  vivid colors  high reliability  environmental protection  safety and multiple applications. However  application of LEDs in projection display exist many questions such as low illuminance uniformity and low energy efficiency by reason of luminescence distribution and constructure specificity for LED  the study on application of LED in the micro-projection display and projection display is reported[2-8]. Considering the question mensioned above the rectangular CPC(Compound Parabolic Concentrator) system with three-color LED is applied in the projection display. 2009 SPIE.

Task Assignment Problems (TAPs) in distributed computer system are general NP-hard and usually modeled as integer programming discrete problems. Many algorithms are proposed to resolve those problems. Discrete particle swarm algorithm (DPS) is a newly developed method to solve constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) which has advantage on search capacity and can find more solutions. We proposed an improved DPS to solve TAP in this paper. DPS has a special operator namely coefficient multiplying speed  which is designed for CSP but does not exist in other discrete problems. Thus we redefined a coefficient multiplying speed operator with probability selection. We analyzed the speed and position updating formula then we derived a refined position updating formula. Several experiments are carried out to test our DPS. Experimental results show that our algorithm has more efficient search capacity  higher success rate  less running time and more robust.
