In the imaging process of the space remote sensing camera
there was degradation phenomenon in the acquired images. In order to reduce the image blur caused by the degradation
the remote sensing images were restored to give prominence to the characteristic objects in the images. First
the frequency-domain notch filter was adopted to remove strip noises in the images. Then using the ground characters with the knife-edge shape in the images
the point spread function of the imaging system was estimated. In order to improve the accuracy
the estimated point spread function was corrected with Gaussian fitting method. Finally
the images were restored using the adaptive Wiener filtering with the fitted point spread function. Experimental results of the real remote sensing images showed that almost all strip noises in the images were eliminated. After the denoised images were restored
its variance and its gray mean gradient increased
also its laplacian gradient increased. Restoration with Gaussian fitted point spread function is beneficial to interpreting and analyzing the remote sensing images. After restoration
the blur phenomenon of the images is reduced. The characters are highlighted
and the visual effect of the images is clearer. 2011 IEEE.

In order to reduce image blur caused by the degradation phenomenon in the imaging process
the acquired images of the space remote sensing camera are restored. First
the frequency-domain notch filter is adopted to remove strip noises in the images. Then degradation function
which is referred to as the point spread function (PSF) of the imaging system is estimated using the knife-edge method. To improve the accuracy of the estimation
the estimated PSF is adjusted with Gaussian fitting. Finally
the images are restored by Wiener filtering with the fitted PSF. The restoration results of the remote sensing images show that almost all strip noises are eliminated by the notch filter. After denoising and restoration
the variance of the remote sensing image worked with in this paper increases 30.979 and the gray mean gradient increases 3.312. Due to Gaussian fitting
the accuracy of the PSF estimation is heightened. Image restoration with the final PSF is benefit to interpreting and analyzing the remote sensing images. After restoration
the contrasts of the restored images are increased and the visual effects become clearer. 2010 IEEE.

In order to find a fast and effective solution to orbit object tracking
a memoryless polynomial adaptive filter is proposed in this paper. Unlike Volterra adaptive filter
the proposed filter is composed of polynomials in different orders
which can fit normal orbit trajectory well. A memoryless polynomial filter (MLF) is designed first. The designed memoryless polynomial filter can be separated into a linearization filter and a FIR filter. Analogous to linear LMS adaptive filter
a LMS adaptive algorithm is derived for the memoryless polynomial filter
which is called Memoryless polynomial LMS adaptive filter (MLPLMS adaptive filter). Experiments show that the proposed filter has better performance than that of a normal LMS filter on orbit tracking. 2009 IEEE.

A new particle filter-the Local Optimum Particle Filter (LOPF) algorithm is presented for tracking object accurately and steadily in visual sequences in real time which is a challenge task in computer vision field. In order to using the particles efficiently
we first use Sobel algorithm to extract the profile of the object. Then
we employ a new Local Optimum algorithm to auto-initialize some certain number of particles from these edge points as centre of the particles. The main advantage we do this in stead of selecting particles randomly in conventional particle filter is that we can pay more attentions on these more important optimum candidates and reduce the unnecessary calculation on those negligible ones
in addition we can overcome the conventional degeneracy phenomenon in a way and decrease the computational costs. Otherwise
the threshold is a key factor that affecting the results very much. So here we adapt an adaptive threshold choosing method to get the optimal Sobel result. The dissimilarities between the target model and the target candidates are expressed by a metric derived from the Bhattacharyya coefficient. Here
we use both the counter cue to select the particles and the color cur to describe the targets as the mixture target model. The effectiveness of our scheme is demonstrated by real visual tracking experiments. Results from simulations and experiments with real video data show the improved performance of the proposed algorithm when compared with that of the standard particle filter. The superior performance is evident when the target encountering the occlusion in real video where the standard particle filter usually fails.

In grating spectrometers
according to wavelength
short-wave second-order spectrum superimposes on long-wave spectrum with the wavelength twice as long as the short-wave. Usually spectrum of long-wave range is got via preventing the superimposition of short-wave second-order spectrum by cut-off filters. This paper analyses the characteristic of the ratio of short-wave second-order spectrum in long-wave superimposing spectral range to first-order spectrum in short-wave free spectral range of diffraction gratings. The paper studies a novel method of obtaining long-wave spectrum via calculation-separating short-wave second-order spectrum from mixed spectra in long-wave superimposing spectral range by data processing with the spectrum of free spectral range and the ratio (instrumental parameter) of short-wave second-order spectrum to first-order spectrum measured beforehand. Spectrum-measurement experiments were carried out by VIS-NIR spectrometers (0.36 - 1.0m). That the spectrum data got via calculation-separation coincide with those got via cut-off filter indicates that spectrum can be obtained by processing the measured date without filters in whole operating wavelength.
