In order to control the focal plane and guarantee the imaging quality of space camera
the focusing system was proposed. Firstly
the reasons of defocusing were analyzed and a solution method was given. Secondly
the system structure and operating principle were introduced. Thirdly
the system design was presented in detail. Finally
the system was experimented. Experimental results indicate that the defocusing amount of camera can be controlled below 10 um and the focusing system satisfies the requirement of system design. (2012) Trans Tech Publications

Spaceborne remote sensing camera may be out of focus when the environment and photographic distance changes. In order to get higher ground sampled distance for the camera
based on the experience gained from the development of a remote sensing camera
working principle of auto-focus assembly control system was discussed. Time of waveform extraction was reduced. It sets force an auto-focus assembly that uses cam and line guide rail in order to move the lens group. The motion error of the auto-focus assembly was difficult to be eliminated and would affect on the focusing accuracy of the spaceborne remote sensing camera directly. So it was analyzed at both ends of the focusing structure. The CCD detector can keep stable when the remote sensing camera is imaging. The motion error was tested to verify the validity of the simulation result and it is less than 0.01mm. Its accuracy meets using demand. The focusing method of moving focal plane is suitable for spaceborne remote sensing camera. 2011 IEEE.

The development trend of focusing control system is high speed
reliable control and miniaturization. A new autofocusing control system based on CAN bus is designed
which realizes the real-time communication and synchronization control among the distributed control system. A design process of CAN interface based on TJAI050 is presented. The principle of focusing control and the hardware and software design are presented in detail. All experiments show that the control system has the advantages such as high accuracy and anti-interference ability

A kind of precision harmonic gear drive in the focusing mechanism of space camera is studied
which adopt external meshing complex wave transmission mode. Wave generator is combined with an elliptic cam and a flexible bearing around it. Flexspline is a structure of single wave with the same teeth. The output shaft is supported by a single cross-roller bearing. Ball screws connected the output shaft translate the rotational motion to the linear motion
and drive the focusing mirror repeated moving along the linear guide. The output rigid wheel is connected with absolute encoder to detect displacement of focusing movement. It has the characteristics of big transmission ratio
high precision
compact structure
high efficiency and smooth running etc. According to the practical application of this harmonic gear drive in the space camera
the location relationship between the displacement of focusing structure and the focal plane movement is derived
and the system error is analyzed
its accuracy is tested with the open-loop control method. Experimental results show that transmission ratio of the instrument is 1:70
repeated positional accuracy is 2m
which meet the requirements for use. 2010 SPIE.

A mathematical model of seeker opto-electronic platform is the basis for researching performance

Comparing with the writing method of plane pattern
spherical pattern' has some remarkable different on several points. Firstly
it is difficult to spin-coated a uniform photoresist film on a spherical substrate
especially the ratio of spherical radius to caliber is smaller
and the spin-coated way must match the ratio of spherical radius to caliber. Secondly
if the sphere couldn't be regarded as a plane
a so-called concentric optical scan movement way must be applied for the generation of spherical pattern
because the reflex of substrate will affect the quantity of illumination. Commonly
an alignment technique is indispensable with pattern generation of spherical surface by the concentric optical scan in order to ensure the orthogonal intersection of focusing laser beam and writing surface. Thirdly
a uniform velocity control must be considered for the laser direct writing method on a spherical substrate. Otherwise
the exposure time of photoresist will be different
and the line widths of pattern will be also different at different areas. Fourthly
commonly
because the errors of concentric machine and substrate surface shape are bigger
so focusing servo-control technique is also needful for writing a pattern on a spherical substrate. Focusing servo-control may keep the focal spot on the spherical surface by a focus detection and control system in the course of writing pattern. Using these techniques
we fabricated a line width of 7m and a period of 600m isometric mesh on the concave of a spherical substrate.

The design method and result are described for an infrared afocal zoom system. Its zoom ratio is 4
(2) Functions such as changing the field-of-view
and the corresponding field of view is 3-12. The working waveband is from 7.5m to 10.5m
focusing for objects at finite distances and athermalizing the system can be achieved by axially moving a single element in the system.
and its total length is required to be no more than 350mm. The final optical system consists of 7 elements
with aspheric surfaces and a diffractive optical element. It achieves diffraction-limited imaging at the far infrared waveband. Two conclusions can be drawn from the design. (1) Using diffractive optical elements in the design of an infrared optical system is an effective approach to control color aberrations
which eliminates the need to use exotic and expensive materials and helps to reduce the cost of the system
