This paper introduces the infrared optical system in the Tokamak fusion reaction device. In this optical system  3.the relay group lenses. This paper describes the decrease of the modulation transfer function (MTF) when the temperature changes and how to compensate the decrease of the MTF in order to maintain the image quality in a high level. As a result  the traditional optical structure can't meet the requirements  2.the Cassegrain system  the image quality of this optical system can reach the requirements when the temperature changes. 2011 Copyright Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).  because the length of the infrared optical system in the Tokamak is very long. Computer-generated holograms (CGH) have been widely used for years in optical testing of aspheric surfaces in combination with Fizeau interferometers. With the development of diffraction optics  computer technology  and micro-processing technology  the accuracy of the CGH testing can achieve a hundredth of a wave  and the cost is reduced greatly. CGH is capable of producing an optical wavefront with any desired shape. So it is fascinating and will have good prospects to test free-form surfaces using CGH. As the CGH can create any wavefront shape  it can also be used in unsymmetrical aspherical surfaces testing. Taking the cubic surface as an example  this paper gives a method to test unsymmetrical surfaces. This paper gives the design to test a cubic surface. And the separation of the diffraction orders and the binary process of the continuous CGH phase function are discussed in detail. The alignment tolerance of the test system and the CGH fabrication tolerance are analyzed. We also present an idea using a CGH and two spherical lenses as null lens to test the cubic surface when the surface deviation is great. 2011 IEEE.

The volume of raw image data captured by the high resolution camera is extremely huge. Thus the efficient image compression method should be used to decrease the bit rate. The image compression method based on wavelet is used more widely nowadays. However  two dimensional wavelet is only the tensor product of the one dimensional wavelet whose support region of basis function is extended from interval to square. Contourlet is an image multiscale geometric analysis tool  which could represent image sparsely and has strong capability of nonlinear approximation. The basis function of contourlet is multidirectional and anisotropic. Nevertheless  contourlet is redundant. So the non-redundant Wavelet Based Contourlet Transform (WBCT) is used in this paper. The SPIHT algorithm is very efficient way to coding the significant coefficients. And the improved no lists SPIHT is more easy to implemented by hardware. Image compression method based on the combination of both wavelet based contourlet transform and no lists SPIHT coding is proposed in the paper. Experiment shows that compared to wavelet based scheme the contourlet scheme can reserve the texture of the image. For barbara test image when coding at low bit rate the PSNR can improve about 0.2dB. 2010 IEEE.

In feature-level fusion recognition system  the other is optimizing system sensor design to get outstanding cost performance. So feature selection become usually necessary to reduce dimensionality of the combination of multi-sensor features and improve system performance in system design. In general  there are two main missions. One is improving the recognition correct rate as soon as possible  the optimization is usually applied to feature selection because of its computational feasibility and validity. For further improving recognition accuracy and reducing selected feature dimensions  this paper presents a more rational and accurate optimization  Bidirectional Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BBPSO) algorithm for feature selection in feature-level fusion target recognition system. In addition  we introduce a new evaluating function as criterion function in BBPSO feature selection method. At the last  we utilized Leave-One-Out method to validate the proposed method. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm improves classification accuracy by two percentage points  while the selected feature dimensions are less one dimension than original Particle Swarm Optimization approach with 16 original feature dimensions. 2009 IEEE.
