In order to solve the problem that the weight of large scale theodolite's casting or steel plate welded structure is too heavy  lightweight design of large scale turntable based on topology optimization of continuum structure is investigated. Topology optimization could have better optimization efficiency because it can provide the optimized distribution of material and gain optimized structure in conceptual design phase of the structural design. In order to obtain lightweight and high stiffness structure  a truss turntable based on topology optimization of continuum structure is presented  and the validity of this lightweight structure is examined by finite element analysis. Comparing to the traditional welding steel turntable  the lightweight turntable  without changing the static displacement  can lose 386.48 kg(lightweight ratio is 26.7%)  and its first-order natural frequency raises from 167.02Hz to 173.71Hz. Meanwhile  in other aspects this turntable also has better performance than traditional structure. 2012 IEEE.

Propose a new measurement system of autocollimation form laser grating heterodyne interferometer. Take grating diffraction and polarization optics as theoretical foundation  second  furthermore  combined with electronics knowledge to analyze the system. First  make use of autocollimation diffraction of grating  measurement information obtained by dual-frequency laser belongs to ac signal  the interferometer measurement system take grating pitch as measuring datum  the structure is simple  possess great gain and high signal-noise ratio  therefore  stable  completely overcome the disadvantages of DC level drift caused by light intensity variation of single-frequency laser  system can achieve nanometer resolution. 2010 IEEE.  reduce the impact of environmental factors  easy to install and debug  measurement error is small

CCD noises and their causes are analyzed. Methods to control these noises  such as Correlated Double Sampling (CDS)  filtering  cooling  clamping  and calibration are proposed. To improve CCD sensor's performances  the IC  called Analog Front End (AFE)  integration of CDS  clamping  Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA)  offset  and ADC  which can fulfill the CDS and analog-to-digital conversion  is employed to process the output signal of CCD. Based on the noise control approaches  the idea of chip design of linear CCD drive pulse generator and control interface is introduced. The chip designed is playing the role of (1) drive pulse generator  for both CCD and AFE  and (2) interface  helping to analysis and transfer control command and status information between MCU controller and drive pulse generator  or between global control unit in the chip and CCD/AFE. There are 6 function blocks in the chip designed  such as clock generator for CCD and AFE  MCU interface  AFE serial interface  output interface  CCD antiblooming parameter register and global control logic unit. These functions are implemented in a CPLD chip  Xilinx XC2C256-6-VQ100  with 20MHz pixel frequency  and 16-bit high resolution. This chip with the AFE can eliminate CCD noise largely and improve the SNR of CCD camera. At last  the design result is presented.

The expanding field of LD-pumped solid state lasers forms an extraordinary challenge for developing the optical coatings. Optical thin films for LD-pumped Nd:YVO4/LBO blue laser at 457nm was presented in this paper based on lower gain laser line action theory  including spectral beam dividers and doubling antireflecting multilayer coatings. To achieve 914nm laser action and 457nm blue light high output power  the coating specifications of laser resonator was analyzed. The transmittance/reflectance spectrum request was effectively separated by adopting high tuned radio stack  simultaneously the spectrum request was reasonably distributed on the two resonator facet reflectivity for restrain the other laser lines such as1064nm and1342nm. The dielectric high reflective laser mirror and antireflecting coatings for 457nm laser were manufactured by double ion beam sputtering technique  which is controlled by a time-power monitoring. Using type-I critical phase-matching LBO crystal  457nm blue laser is obtained by 914nm intracavity frequency doubling. The maximum laser output power of 1.5W is obtained when incident pump laser of 15W is used.

Considering laser medium thermal lens effect and thermal focal length changes with pumping power  conventionally  lasers are designed to operate in the middle of thermal stable zones  where the fundamental mode size is insensitive to thermal perturbation  while this method seems impossible when large fundamental mode size is required. Through self-select mode cavity  lasers are designed to work at the border of stable zone instead  where large fundamental mode size in gain media can be reached. With increase of pumping power and self-aperture mode-selective effect  mode size would grow up automatically to a certain value suitable for monomode resonance. With double 180 W pump modules  acoustic Q-switch and LBO external frequency-doubled  over 28 W which M2 equals 4.5 quasi-CW output green laser and 52W 1.064 um IR output is obtained simultaneity. With the insertion or not of the harmonic separator by footswitch  high beam quality green  IR  and green IR lasers are obtained conveniently.
