Image motion compensation is significantly important for aerial camera photograph. To execute the compensation  we must determine the image motion exactly. This paper proposes a method of real-time image motion measurement for panoramic aerial cameras based on image processing using a hybrid system. Two cameras are simultaneously used in the hybrid system. One main linear CCD for imaging  while the other auxiliary low resolution high frame rate area CCD for determining the image motion based on 2D spatial correlation. The demanding computational requirements for the real-time 2D spatial correlation are covered by a joint transform optical correlator. Simulation test results show that the accuracy is improved and the measurement error is within 0.2 pixels for input images with SNR=1 dB. 2010 IEEE.

There mainly is laser digital photofinishing technique and digital photofinishing technique based on LCD consisting of TFT and LCOS in the digital photofinishing field at the present time. The former have a good many merit such as wide color gamut  high processing rate  large output size and high brightness  but his cost is very high  his maintain technique being comparatively complex  that result in difficult use for people. The utilization ratio of the latter is low because of lower resolution and lower aperture ratio for LCD  but the digital photofinishing based on LCD have lower cost and higher utilization ration  being suitable for people's current standard of living. Considering above mentioned problem  a micro-motion exposure method based on PZT piezoelectric ceramics used in digital image photofinishing is presented. The two-dimension micro-motion exposure system consisting of PZT piezoelectric ceramics  LCD panel  polarizing film and spring strip is designed. By means of PZT piezoelectric ceramics the LCD panel is removed about the one half of the pixel size of the LCD panel for four times from the original place  at the same time imaging system is exposed four times at the printing paper. The software is used to control the time synchronization  the exposure time and motion range of the LCD panel. The system has advantages such as shorter response time than 0.1seconds  lesser motion error than 0.01 microns  high stability and repeatability. Experimental results show that the proposed micro-motion exposure method improve the picture brightness and enlarge output size  at the meantime reducing the cost of the system. 2009 SPIE.

In order to achieve the dynamical detection and real-time analysis of the movement status of the magnetic fluid  according to the difficulties of the detection of the magnetic fluid  established a high-speed acquisition and processing system of laser speckle signal on the magnetic fluid. First of all  the FPGA (EP2C8T144C8N) drived the linear array CCD(TCD1501D) to scan in the corresponding time sequence given by the computer  collected the laser speckle interferometric image in rapid change on the surface of the magnetic fluid  which followed the movement of the magnetic fluid  and the signal collected by CCD was converted into the digital data through the high-speed A/D convertor and stored into the internal buffer FIFO of the FPGA  whose width and depth were designed by the user as required. Then  the FPGA sent the digital signal of the laser speckle interferometric images into the computer through the USB2.0 highspeed differential bus  whose transmission rate can reach 480Mb/s in theory. Finally  the distribution of the laser speckle on the magnetic fluid was messy and random  which carried certain information about the surface of the magnetic fluid  based on the theories of the statistic correlation and the subdivision of images  analysing and processing the laser speckle interferometric images  indirectly got the movement status of the magnetic fluid under the electromagnetic field. The experimental results show that: the High Speed Acquisition and Processing System has the advantage of full-court  non-contact  non-invasive  high-precision and high reliability and so on. The detection resolution of high speed acquisition and processing system is superior to 1m and the sample rate is 3Msps  which basically meets the requirements of the magnetic fluid movement state detection. 2009 SPIE.

In domains of aerospace  aviation  aiming  and optic measure etc.  the embedded system of imaging  processing and recording is absolutely necessary  which has small volume  high processing speed and high resolution. But the embedded storage technology becomes system bottleneck because of developing slowly. It is used to use RAID to promote storage speed  but it is unsuitable for the embedded system because of its big volume. Fiber channel (FC) technology offers a new method to develop the high-speed  portable storage system. In order to make storage subsystem meet the needs of high storage rate  make use of powerful Virtex-4 FPGA and high speed fiber channel  advance a project of embedded system of digital image storage based on Xilinx Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop LogiCORE. This project utilizes Virtex4 RocketIO MGT transceivers to transmit the data serially  and connects many Fiber Channel hard drivers by using of Arbitrated Loop optionally. It can achieve 400MBps storage rate  breaks through the bottleneck of PCI interface  and has excellences of high-speed  real-time  portable and massive capacity.

The remarkable improvement of sensing and processing hardware performance makes the non-contact  on-line  high accuracy and high speed measuring possible by means of linear CCD. The goal of this pager is to describe the key questions on designing the cone diameter detecting system by linear CCD. This paper first describes the detecting scheme. In particular  the factors affecting accuracy  such as resolution  voltage difference between neighbor pixels  detecting rate and so on  are analyzed  and the quantitative estimation equations are provided. CCD takes on the photoelectric translation and measuring component double functions  so the waveform of CCD output signal and the affecting factors merit deep discussion. On the basis of discussion  several principles that can be used to improve the boundary recognition accuracy are presented.
