This paper presents real-time MPEG-4 Simple Profile video compressing based on the DSP processor. The programming framework of video compressing is constructed using TMS320C6416 Microprocessor  the architecture level optimizations are used to improve software pipeline. The system used DSP/BIOS to realize multi-thread scheduling. The whole system realizes high speed transition of a great deal of data. Experimental results show the encoder can realize real-time encoding of 768*576  TDS510 simulator and PC. It uses embedded real-time operating system DSP/BIOS and the API functions to build periodic function  25 frame/s video images. 2009 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.  tasks and interruptions etcs. In feature-level fusion recognition system  the other is optimizing system sensor design to get outstanding cost performance. So feature selection become usually necessary to reduce dimensionality of the combination of multi-sensor features and improve system performance in system design. In general  there are two main missions. One is improving the recognition correct rate as soon as possible  the optimization is usually applied to feature selection because of its computational feasibility and validity. For further improving recognition accuracy and reducing selected feature dimensions  this paper presents a more rational and accurate optimization  Bidirectional Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BBPSO) algorithm for feature selection in feature-level fusion target recognition system. In addition  we introduce a new evaluating function as criterion function in BBPSO feature selection method. At the last  we utilized Leave-One-Out method to validate the proposed method. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm improves classification accuracy by two percentage points  while the selected feature dimensions are less one dimension than original Particle Swarm Optimization approach with 16 original feature dimensions. 2009 IEEE.

To solve the real-time and reliability problem of tracking servo-control system in optoelectronic theodolite  a multisensors parallel processing system was proposed. Misdistances of three different wavebands were imported into system  and then prediction was done in DSP1 to get the actual position information. Data fusion was accomplished in PPGA imported by multi channel buffer serial port. The compound position information was used to control the theodolite. The results were compared with external guide data in DSP2 to implement correction of above calculation  and then were imported to epistemic machine through PXI interface. The simulation experiment of each calculation unit showed that this system could solve the real-time problem of feature level data fusion. The simulation result showed that the system can satisfy the real-time requirement with 1.25ms in theodolite with three imaging systems  while sampling frequency of photoelectric encoder was 800 Hz. 2009 SPIE.

The main principles of laser direct writing (LDW) system for lines on the spherical surface (SS) are discussed. It is pointed out that line profile is determined by the exposure dose distribution  which lies on the light intensity distribution of focus plane and the scanning speed. To improve the quality of line profile on the SS  several key techniques as follows are introduced. Firstly  the unique system configuration  four axes mutually intersecting at the center of the SS  is adopted  which ensures the shape of the focus be maintained circular during the writing period. Secondly  an automatic focus system (AFS) with the function of automatic focus in a certain range is introduced. Thirdly  to guarantee the linear velocity to accord with the exposure character of the photoresist all the time  an efficient arithmetic that controls motors run at appropriate angular velocity in different latitude is developed. Finally  to achieve a stable and well-behaved system so as to compensate the velocity instability resulting from unavoidable errors of mechanical and electronics factor  a powerful programmable multi-axis controller (PMAC) is utilized as the kernel element of the servocontrol system  and the curves of step response and parabolic response achieved by feedforward and PID loop tuning indicate that the location precision and velocity stability have reached a high level. The experimental results of LDW of lines on the SS work piece with a diameter 30 mm and a radius equal to 100 mm are given. The section analysis of the lines on the photoresist by the atomic force microscope (AFM) after exposure and development is performed. The results show that line width is about 3.0 m  and the steep sides of the lines are parallel to each other.
