Such as nanodiamonds  carbon nanofibers  carbon nanotubes (CNTs)  graphene and so on  they all have potential applications as field electron emission materials  electrode materials  storage hydrogen materials and composite materials. In this paper we reported the growth of layered graphene(LG) on carbon fibers surface. The LG synthesized on carbon fibers may have potential applications in many fields.
