In calibration procedure  sub-pixel center extraction is the crucial step for the final accuracy. In this paper  a new sub-pixel extraction method is proposed. Edge detection at pixel level is obtained using LOG operator  then sub-pixel edge detection is realized using the Facet model. Finally  the least squares ellipse fitting is operated on the sub-pixel edge to determine the sub-pixel center. Experiment on a series of simulated images indicates that this algorithm is able to realize the center location accuracy of 0.01-0.02 pixel  and meets the requirement of sub-pixel level. In this paper  the crowd is regard as a fluid  and the crowd motion is described by four fluid kinematic features (divergence  vorticity  gradient tensor invariant and rotation tensor invariant). To discriminate the panic event from normal crowd behavior  an information entropy is calculated as a high level feature based on the fluid kinematic features. Based on tapered FBG and thin-wall strain cylinder structure  a novel temperature-independent high pressure sensor was fabricated and investigated. The tapered FBG performed as a chirped grating  whose bandwidth and reflection power broadened and increased when the pressure applied on it. Moreover  the bandwidth and the reflection power were temperature-independent. So the value of the strain can be obtained by detecting the reflection power. This method effectively solved the cross-sensitivity problem. L. 收藏  |  浏览/下载：20/0  |  提交时间：2013/03/25 Zinc oxide (ZnO) films have been prepared on glass substrate in layer-by-layer mode using an atomic-layer deposition (ALD) technique  and a metal-semiconductor-metal structured photodetector has been fabricated on the ZnO films employing interdigital Au as metal contacts. The photodetector shows a cutoff wavelength at around 390 nm and has an obvious responsivity in the whole UVA spectral range. Because the response of the ZnO photodetector covers the whole UV solar irradiation that can reach the earth  the photodetector promises to be useful in monitoring UV solar irradiation to protect people from harm caused by the solar irradiation.
