In order to satisfy requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor and implement the high integration of software  a kind of VxWorks-based multitask software architecture was put forward. Firstly  the technological requirements of optical remote sensor were analyzed in detail and functions and performances of the optical remote sensor were fixed. Task that was based on each function of optical remote sensor was compartmentalized. Then  software architecture of optical remote sensor was designed. Finally  experiments were carried out and results verified the accuracy and feasibility of the software architecture. Test results showed that the software architecture satisfied the requirements of real time and parallel control for the space optical remote sensor  its functions and performances met the system design target perfectly  and the software architecture was applicable to the engineering application of space instrument. 2011 IEEE.

A line-of-sight (LOS) Locating algorithm for staring imaging is presented in this paper. Staring imaging is an imaging mode for aerial remote sensor  which photographs the designated earth-fixed target in muItidirections. Therefore  the details of interesting targets is available. For the target obscured or disguised  its advantage becomes more apparent. This paper proposes the method using two-axis rotation to achieve staring imaging  and establishes the system model and the associated coordinates. Adopting the method of coordinate transformation  the LOS Locating algorithm is constructed  which determines the LOS direction. For the validation of algorithm  Target Geolocation Algorithm is established using Simulink library blocks. Eventually  it proves the feasibility of the LOS Locating algorithm. This article provides a thought of LOS Locating algorithm for staring imaging. The method of coordinate transformation used in this paper can be applied to line-of-sight positioning in other imaging modes. 2010 IEEE.

To the characteristic of the ultraviolet CCD (UV ICCD)  technique of the linearity measurement of the UV ICCD camera is studied based on the theory of radiometry. Approach of linearity measurement is discussed  and a kind of measurement system of the UV ICCD has been developed based on the method of neutral density filter. It is very important that the transmittance of the filter is independent of the wavelength in the method of neutral density filter. Black metal screen mesh with different transmittance is used in our system  and calibration of the filters' transmittance in different working positions has been done. Meanwhile  to assure the uniform of the received radiation on the target of the detector at any test points  an integrating sphere is placed behind the neutral filter to balance light. The whole measurement system mainly consists of a deuterium lamp with high stabilization  the attenuation film with transmission  integrating sphere  optical guide and electro-shift platform. Auto control is realized via special software during the test. With this instrument  the linearity of the UV ICCD was measured. Experimental results show that the nonlinearity of the UV ICCD under fixed-gain is less than 2% and the uncertainty of measurement system is less than 4%. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

This article will introduces a high-speed non-contact method that can measures the angular rate of a test table though an objective perspective. This method adopts a collimator tube that can be measured as a target fixed to the test table  and the target corresponds to the angular position of the test table. In the process of the table rotating  the camera will to keep track of the objective at a high speed. Due to the high sampling frequency of the high-speed camera  instantaneous angular rate of test table can be measured. With pixel subdivision technology  its measuring accuracy can be up to 0.02 pixels. We use this methods measured a low-speed test table's angular rate and analyzed the data. The error analysis shows when the rate of the test table is 0.20/s  the accuracy of the method can achieve 0.0220%. 2009 IEEE.
