The mechanical structure of a single actuated bio-mimetic robotic fish was designed based on forced vibration responses of a non-prismatic cantilever which mimicked the fish body deformation. To realize the cruising
turning and burst-and-coast moving modes
the hardware system based on the micro controller unit STM32F103C8T6 and the control were developed. The state variable feedback method and PID method were used to design the control algorithms respectively. The simulation and experimental results showed that the whole system could imitate the swimming of the real fish. 2012 IEEE.

In high precise surface testing
temperature stability and uniformity are of paramount importance to the high accuracy of test results. Micro-temperature variation and temperature gradients not only cause the change of the air refractive index and lead to the optical path variation in interferometer cavity
but also result in deformation of the tested surface itself
which always brings about errors to the test results. Temperature effects on the interferometer cavity and the tested surface are analyzed from the axial and radial directions in this letter. Temperature model of the interferometer cavity and the tested lens are established and quantitative calculations and diagram of test results versus temperature and lens dimension are provided. It shows that temperature gradients effect increase with the length of the interferometer and the dimension of the tested lens. The interferometer cavity is mainly affected by radial temperature gradients while the tested lens is mainly affected by the axial temperature gradients. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

Restraining the noise
meanwhile
improving the dynamic characteristics of the driving power of piezoelectric pump effectively are the final purposes of doing research on the reciprocating and flexural vibration of the piezoelectric vibrator. However
among many papers regarding piezoelectric pump
there are very few papers about the research on the noise of piezoelectric pump. This is far less than the research on the application of the piezoelectric pump in other fields. In this paper
the research on the flexural vibration deformation and vibration radiation noise of the piezoelectric vibrator are carried out. Firstly
the vibration equations of the piezoelectric vibrator are built and flexural vibration deformation function is deduced. Then
the simplified vibration model of the piezoelectric vibrator is introduced by using vibration theories of micro-area piston. Furthermore
theoretical calculation equations of sound pressure in close noise field and noise contribution equation of fluid in pump are deduced. Finally
a comparison is made between the theoretical calculation value and experimental value
and the contribution quantities of the piezoelectric vibrator and fluid in pump are obtained respectively under different frequencies. The consequence approves that the theory introduced by this research is true. 2006 IEEE.
