This paper presents the digital PI control method for design and simulation of a high precision limited angle brushless torque motor control system in Field Programmable Gate Array device (FPGA). The direct drive structures which are widely applied in many servo control fields. Matlab Xilinx System GeneratorR toolbox based on Fixed-Point Arithmetic is used to design the digital PI controller using DSP architecture  plot the responses of the control system and generate the VHDL source code. The control system model consists of a digital PI  a real LABTM  and a real absolute Inductosyn  encoder to rpm and position blocks. Through loading generated codes in process of the simulation that built by the digital discrete model  it is verified that the rising time of current loop is only 1.2ms  and rate loop is 8ms  overshoot is rarely 4.2%. Finally  the comprehensive positioning accuracy of system can reach up to 5 arc sec  and the rate jitter achieves 5% with the 4 arc sec accuracy absolute Inductosyn. The CCD plane of the space tridimensional mapping camera will be deviated from the focal plane(including the CCD plane deviated due to camera focal length changed)  under the condition of space environment and vibration  impact when satellite is launching  image resolution ratio will be descended because defocusing. For tridimensional mapping camera  principal point position and focal length variation of the camera affect positioning accuracy of ground target  conventional solution is under the condition of vacuum and focusing range  calibrate the position of CCD plane with code of photoelectric encoder  when the camera defocusing in orbit  the magnitude and direction of defocusing amount are obtained by photoelectric encoder  then the focusing mechanism driven by step motor to compensate defocusing amount of the CCD plane. For tridimensional mapping camera  under the condition of space environment and vibration  impact when satellite is launching  if the camera focal length changes  above focusing method has been meaningless. Thus  the measuring and focusing method was put forward based on astigmation  a quadrant detector was adopted to measure the astigmation caused by the deviation of the CCD plane  refer to calibrated relation between the CCD plane poison and the asrigmation  the deviation vector of the CCD plane can be obtained. This method includes all factors caused deviation of the CCD plane  experimental results show that the focusing resolution of mapping camera focusing mechanism based on astigmatic method can reach 0.25 m. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

A line-of-sight (LOS) Locating algorithm for staring imaging is presented in this paper. Staring imaging is an imaging mode for aerial remote sensor  which photographs the designated earth-fixed target in muItidirections. Therefore  the details of interesting targets is available. For the target obscured or disguised  its advantage becomes more apparent. This paper proposes the method using two-axis rotation to achieve staring imaging  and establishes the system model and the associated coordinates. Adopting the method of coordinate transformation  the LOS Locating algorithm is constructed  which determines the LOS direction. For the validation of algorithm  Target Geolocation Algorithm is established using Simulink library blocks. Eventually  it proves the feasibility of the LOS Locating algorithm. This article provides a thought of LOS Locating algorithm for staring imaging. The method of coordinate transformation used in this paper can be applied to line-of-sight positioning in other imaging modes. 2010 IEEE.
