Currently most existing remote controls for consumer electronics use infrared remotes (IR) technology to control devices which Increases the demand for advanced functionality that cannot be supported by existing IR. RF remotes provide new levels of interactivity and convenience for today's digital home when compared to IR remotes. New network protocols: ZigBee RF4CE are helping to make this technology accessible to us. In this paper  we first introduce the architecture and primitives of the ZigBee RF4CE  node initialization service  then present the researches of the Application layer and Network layer respectively. Focusing on the functions of Network layer including: frequency usage service  transmission control service  discovery service  power saving service  pairing service and security service. 2010 IEEE.

We calculate the influence of temperature change on the refractive index of air  establish a model of air temperature distribution and analyze the effect of different temperature distribution on the high accuracy interferometric metrology. First  a revised Edlen formula is employed to acquire the relation between temperature and refractive index of air  followed by introducing the fixed temperature gradient distribution among the spatial grid within the optical cavity between the reference flat and the test flat of the Fizeau interferometer  accompanied by a temperature change random function within each grid. Finally  all the rays through the air layer with different incident angles are traced by Matlab program in order to obtain the final output position  angle and OPD for each ray. The influence of different temperature distribution and the length of the optical cavity in on the testing accuracy can be analyzed through the RMS value that results from repeatable rays tracing. As a result  the horizontal distribution (vertical to optical axis) has a large effect on the testing accuracy. Thus  to realize the high accuracy figure metrology  the horizontal distribution of temperature must be rigorously controlled as well as to shorten the length of the optical cavity to a large extent. The results from our simulation are of great significant for the accuracy analysis of interferometric testing and the research of manufacturing a interferometer. 2010 Copyright SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering.

We determined the optical constants (the refractive index n and the extinction coefficient k) of ion beam sputter deposited zirconia thin films with spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE). First  we obtained the structure information (the layer thickness  surface roughness and layer diffusion) by fitting the grazing x-ray reflection (GXRR) spectra. The fitted surface roughness is verified by atomic force micrometer (AFM) measurement. Second  based on the acquired structure information  the measured ellipsometry spectra are fitted in the range of 240-800nm at an incident angle of 70.25 degree. The optical constants are solved based on the Tauc-Lorentz dispersion. The optical band gap extracted by SE is 4.79eV. Finally  the optical band gap is verified by Taue plot method  which is well consistent with that of SE.

Image super-resolution methods process an input image sequence of a scene to obtain a still image with increased resolution. Classical approaches to this problem involve complex iterative minimization procedures  typically with high computational costs. In this paper is proposed a novel algorithm for super-resolution that enables a substantial decrease in computer load. First  decompose and reconstruct the image by wavelet packet. Before constructing the image  use neural network in place of other rebuilding method to reconstruct the coefficients in the wavelet packet domain. Second  probabilistic neural network architecture is used to perform a scattered-point interpolation of the image sequence data in the wavelet packet domain. The network kernel function is optimally determined for this problem by a MLP-PNN (Multi Layer Perceptron - Probabilistic Neural Network) trained on synthetic data. Network parameters dependent on the sequence noise level. This super-sampled image is spatially Altered to correct finite pixel size effects  to yield the final high-resolution estimate. This method can decrease the calculation cost and get perfect PSNR. Results are presented  showing the quality of the proposed method. 2008 IEEE.

Aluminum is a typical active metal very easy to oxidize. An oxide surface layer of about 2-6nm quickly formed in air which adds difficulty to the optical constants determination. An ex-situ method is used to determine the optical constants of aluminum thin films. First  Second  Third  alumina (Al2O3) thin film is deposited by ion beam sputter deposition. The optical constants and thickness are determined by spectral ellipsoemtry (SE). The thickness is verified by grazing x-ray reflection (GXRR) fitting method  Al thin film with an Al2O3 cap layer on top is deposited. This cap layer is of the same deposition condition with the first step. By fitting the GXRR spectra  based on the acquired structure information  the structure information (the thickness of the aluminum and the cap layer  the ellipsometric spectra are fitted. The optical constants of the aluminum layer are extracted with the aid of the Drude model. Finally  surface roughness and the diffusion between Al-Al2O 3) is obtained  an induced transmission filter (ITF) is designed and deposited.

Automatic target detection is very difficult in complicate background of sea and sky because of the clutter caused by waves and clouds nearby the sea-level line. In this paper  in view of the low-flying target near the sea is always above the sea-level line  we can first locate the sea-level line  and neglect the image data beneath the sea-level line. Thus the noise under the sea-level line can be suppressed  and the executive time of target segmentation is also much reduced. A new method is proposed  which first uses neighborhood averaging method to suppress background and enhance targets so as to increase SNR  and then uses the multi-point multi-layer vertical Sobel operator combined with linear least squares fitting to locate the sea-level line  lastly uses the centroid tracking algorithm to detect and track the target. In the experiment  high frame rate and high-resolution digital CCD camera and high performance DSP are applied. Experimental results show that this method can efficiently locate the sea-level line on various conditions of lower contrast  and eliminate the negative impact of the clutter caused by waves and clouds  and capture and track target real-timely and accurately.
